Keeping my $71.
The fabric was thick and sturdy, as are most items by Susana Monaco. I did not care for the shape of the tube top as it was a bit long and had a slight "flare" at the end of it which emphasized an area I would rather not. I would prefer a fitted tube top instead. I bought the Splendid Top/Skirt/Dress which was thinner but I felt the fabric felt sleeker than this one.

Great sleep shirt!
I'm 5'3" and usually wear a 4 or 6 for tops. I bought the XS and it was CRAZY BIG. I opened my SHOPBOP package at the office and the my friend laughed because it just looked so humongous and said it looked like a sleep shirt. So yes, it is an "oversized circle tee" but it is too big to look good. Cool skull print though.

Amazing!!!
I'm 5'3", 130 lbs (damn those cupcakes...) and the size 6 is perfect on me. LOVE this dress on me. As soon as I got this delivered to my work, I changed out of my Alexander Wang dress (sorry!!!) and tried this on. I wore it the rest of the day with black tights and black patent Pour La Victoire pumps. Since this is a mini dress (and I HATE showing that little fat patch above the knees), I also wear this dress with black over the knee boots. The dress has little hidden loops to hold your bra straps in place - so smart. Another DVF winner!!! :-)

Gorgeous But Didn't Work Out
Gorgeous, gorgeous shoe but it just didn't work out for me. You must try it though!! I'm a pretty solid size 8 but on these, my heel kept slipping out in the back. I did NOT try the 7.5 in this one, but I do have 7.5 in the patent Irina version. 7.5 definitely fits a bit too tight but they do stretch out with time. I found (for me) that the height is fantastic (adds to my 5'3" stature) but something funky was going on with the arch - or the lack thereof of one. Toe box is a bit of a squeeze as well.

Keeping my $50.
I love James Perse ribbed tanks so I thought I might love this one. The fabric is very soft but the fit was a little on the funk side. It was low in the front and the straps were too thin to hide bra straps. I don't mind paying $$ for great basics but sadly this wasn't one of them. I'll be huntin' for those ribbed tanks of his instead....

Redefining the LBD
I'm calling this the Little Boring Dress. For $174, I was expecting more. I'm always in the market forlittle black dresses but this one let me down. I thought the seams in the front would give it oomph but they really didn't add anything to the styling of the garment. The weight of the fabric was thick and sturdy. The fit seemed a bit smaller that expected (I ordered a medium and I'm usually a pretty solid small/medium - this dress gave me a food baby even when I didn't eat). I love a classic black dress but this one was definitely underwhelming for the price.

Not Bad
The fabric is lightweight and it's pretty decently priced for a versatile item that can be worn as a top, skirt or dress. It's a little long to be worn as a top so it worked more of a skirt and dress on me. The item that was sent to me had a strange "bumpiness" in the fabric in certain areas that reminded me of a rash. I'm sure it was just a defect in the fabric so I'm returning it and getting another one in the same size/color.
