Nice dress but just not for me
First the pros of this dress - it was of nice quality. The silk is thin but it was lined, so not overly flimsy. The patchwork detail was really cute. I'm typically a 0 in dresses and while some may be tempted to say this runs large, the style is supposed to be loose and flowy so I'd say it's true to size. However, it just didn't work for me in that I'm only 5'4" and small-framed; it kind of overwhelmed my frame and did nothing for me. I think it would look amazing on a taller gal but for me there were too many things going on (loose style, baggy) and it didn't hit me as high as it did on the model so it just kind of swallowed me up whole.

Perfect sweatshirt!
I loved pretty much everything about this sweatshirt. As some of the other reviews mentioned it's not super-thick; it was a thinner knit (which was fine with me, because it was also much softer and not as stiff as thicker sweatshirts can be). I'm 5'4" and it completely covers my hips and behind (there's a shirttail hem in the back which was nice). It's long enough to wear as a tunic with leggings, but not so long that it would look frumpy with jeans or other fitted pants. It's true to size for Theory; I'm typically an XS in Theory and this fit perfectly but it wasn't as baggy as you'd expect a regular sweatshirt to be so keep that in mind if you want something more slouchy looking. The arms are more on the fitted side and the body is more "body-skimming" as opposed to relaxed. It's not inexpensive but worth the price for me; I always end up throwing away ill-fitting cheaper sweatshirts but I know I'll get more than my money's worth out of this one! Huge thumbs up.
