Rockstar appeal
My girlfriends love the rugged, rockstar appeal of this bag. When filled to the max, it can feel quite heavy if you use it for extended hours. And it can be filled with quite a bit of stuff- my wallet, my slim cosmetic pouch, a small umbrella, my keys and a packet of tissue. I've had it for half a year and the leather has seasoned well with a nice patina. I have it in brown and regret not getting the black one when it was available and on sale.

Better than alternatives
I have a similar bag from cuyana which is only slightly cheaper than the transport tote. I prefer the leather used in this bag which is thicker and sturdier than the leather used in the cuyana tote. I can fill this tote up and it doesn't feel like it's going to break or stretch. I can't do that with the cuyana one. Texture-wise, the leather is more buttery and the suede side is finer and not as coarse. This is definitely a worthwhile buy. I took a star off because I bought the nubuck olive transport tote which I believe shows dirt and wear more easily than the other colours. Nevertheless, I like the bag enough to consider buying another one in saddle colour when there's another sale.

Not a shoulder bag
The leather is of good quality and is nicely pebbled. The colour is not as deep as shown but i like the actual milky brown. Fits quite a bit: my sunnies and its hard case, my long wallet, and umbrella, a galaxy note, my makeup pouch plus many other bits and pieces. i can squeeze in a few sheets of a4 sized paper, but that's really pushing it. The straps are a bit too short to go comfortably over the shoulders, even though my arms are quite slender. I can only use it as a shoulder bag when the bag is filled to the brim. Thus stretched out, the bag becomes 'shorter' and allows more space for my arms when i wear the straps over my shoulder. Otherwise, the top of the bag and the zipper will poke into my pits.
