it's a dolman tunic.
voluminous in the bust area, snug at the waist and end of the sleeves. I love the cut because I can have it bunch at my hip area and push the sleeves up to make it more "breezy" for cooler days. This is an open knit- air flows right through. great for spring! has a bit of metallic fibers running through the weave that adds a little something extra. Very cute with boots and skinny jeans. It's a total must have. Great for a long lean body style or someone who has a short torso.(like myself- short torso five foot five long legged!)

a little bigger than I expected but-
I LOVE IT ANYWAY! looks great with a long sleeve boat neck top underneath it, I wore it with a black one by 3 dot and skinny jeans with my enzio anglioni buckle boots.. very cute all together. bulky and drapey but it looks fantastic because it is very much the boho look for now. Will have to keep an eye out for this brand in the future.

James Perse runs smallish, opted for a 3
sizes run 1, 2, 3, 4. xs,s,m,l (a 3 is a medium) and this top is meant to be voluminous. it is extra large around the midsection- it tents out on almost an A-line. This works best for long lean body styles, or short waisted long legged 5 foot 5 inches ladies like myself. I'm a size 28 in jeans, s/m in most tops, wear a 4 in most dresses, and a size 1/2 in james perse under tanks (which this layers nicely with!) Madly in love, it is a signature heavy jersey james perse top. same fabric as his old off the shoulder styles from the 03-07 ish years.(those were really great tops!)
