Overall the jeans are great! They hug your body as a glove, narrow thru the leg and at the ankle so they are more like jean leggins. I took size 26 and usually I wear 27 (rarely 26) in most designer jean brands. They did look tiny but when I put them on there was no problem to zip them up so stretchy they are. BUT if you do take smaller size they stretch so much on you that the coating stretches too and not so intense anymore. They end up being very shiny at the knees and below but not at the top part. So if you want more "leather" look take you normal size although they may be not as body hugging.

I own these ones in a different colour combination (black/red/bordeaux) but I also have tried on in these colours as well. The colours are just as in the picture. Quality is superb, very comfortable, very versatile. The best alternative for Isabel Marants out there. I'm European size 37.5 and took 38 (8 US), they fit great.
