lovely cut/questionable quality
First let me start by saying that the cut of this dress and it's concept is amazing. It is incredibly flattering, and the skirt falls beautifully on me, with the whole piece being a great fit. I love the concealed zip (it was concealed enough for me not to notice it at all and when I put it on and took it off the first two times, it was without the aid of said zip. But for $125 I want a dress that will last me. The first time I wore it, the button snapped off. The first time I wore it, due to the fine nature of the lacework of the dress, threads were snagging on anything and everything and looking down at the skirt of the dress really annoyed me. They're both things that can be easily fixed. I just want to say that this is a beautiful dress, and I look forward to wearing it frequently, but I wouldn't pay as much as I did for it again, considering the quality, which was a bit disappointing really.

a wardrobe staple
I've worn these shoes for a fair while, and they are part of my daily wardrobe. They are a good way to dress up my outfit, though I often wear them casually as well, so they are versatile. While they were uncomfortable in the beginning, after they've been broken in, they are super comfortable and I find myself reaching for them more and more. The only thing I don't like about them is the fact that the really large metal detail at the front often hits the top of my foot when I'm walking and that's both annoying and painful if it happens hard enough. Weird, I know. Aside from that, they run true to size for me, and the scrunchy back is a great alternative to the banana flats.

the most beautiful flats
These are my second pair of Marc by Marc Jacobs mouse flats, I also have the glitter ones from a few seasons ago. I feel like this pair of shoes runs true to size, and therefore a little bit tighter than the usual MBMJ shoe sizing, which I find to run slightly larger than size, so I'd say take your standard size for shoes in general (if there is such a thing). Other than that, I adore the leather, which is smooth, buttery and just fantastic, and I think the studs are the perfect detailing for the flats.
