I bought my usual size in Mackage coats, and it is a very sleek, close fit. There's no room for anything but thin layers underneath; if you want to wear something thicker or more substantial, I would size up. I love that you can wear the neckline a number of different ways.

I am 5'7, and usually a pretty consistent size 8 in dresses and tops, size 4 in skirts and pants (I blame my massive rib cage) so I ordered a medium. While I was able to get it zipped, I thought it was uncomfortably tight. I then ordered the large and while there's obviously a bit more room, it's still more fitted than I would have liked; I would prefer a looser fit, like on the model. I like the length though, it hits me at the knees. Looking back over the reviews for all colours of this dress, it seems that the only people who find this dress runs big are the ones who are really petite. The quality is not amazing, the zipper is quite sticky, I had some difficulty unzipping it so I could try it on.

I have really wide, duck like feet (not attractive whatsoever); so with boots I usually size up half a size from my true size of 6.5 for the extra space. These are wide enough that I ordered a 36.5 and they fit comfortably, in fact they're a bit roomy (though nothing unmanageable) so I may have been able to size down even more to a 36, but they're sold out now and this way I have the room to wear a thicker sock. There's a bit of arch support and the zipper makes it easy to get on (I tried the short version and it was a bit of a workout. Not that that's a bad thing, but sometimes you're in a hurry :) For anyone who cares, they're stamped "Made in China" on the inside, so not Italy like it says on the Shopbop description.
