leather is beautiful, soft yet durable, when carried with shoulder strap, the bag slouches nicely giving a more casual look. The actual color is darker, more like a dark beige with subtle pink in it, seems to go with everything so far. Good size too, shouldn't be called mini, it's a medium sized bag, love it.
