I was looking for some moto-style boots for awhile before ordering these. I loved the look of the Rag & Bone moto boots but kept holding back because I really wanted something with a little bit of heel to lengthen the legs. Also, I didn't want something that was difficult to get off and on my feet. When I came across these they met both requirements and were actually about $200 less than the other boots I had considered. Overall, style + quality + price made for a great value in these boots. As the other reviewers mentioned, they are more of a dark gray but I knew that before ordering and so wasn't disappointed by this. They are a little clunky but not overly heavy or uncomfortable compared to other boots I own.

Love the slouchy skinny look. I have had people ask where I got them almost every time I wear them. The wash is perfection. The denim is soft and very comfortable. So many ways to wear these. Love love love! I bought my regular size because I wanted them look truly slouchy, but could comfortably size down 2 sizes if I was going for a more fitted look.

These boots are so popular I figured I couldn't go wrong. However, they were a little stiff and uncomfortable straight out of the box. Now that I've had them about 2 months they are much better and I find myself reaching for them frequently. Certain jeans don't work well with them because they look bunched up if I try to stuff them in the boot, but the top of the boot is too big around for a lot of pants to fit over them as well. I love them with skirts and looser jeans, however. I did feel they ran about a half size small.

I agonized over getting these pants because they are so expensive, but finally broke down with shopbop's FF sale. Even then I didn't know that I would keep them, but they turned out to be everything I had hoped for and more. Super flattering, hold you in scuba fabric is also amazingly comfortable. They will go with everything, dress up or down. At first the seams and hem seemed a little quirky, but smoothed out after the first wearing. I have kind of muscular thighs from biking and often have trouble with skinny pants fitting properly, but these are so stretchy that they didn't make the back of my legs look like sausages. I still think they are overpriced but for me a better value than buying less flattering pants at half the cost.

Stylish pants make me feel like a celebrity :). Took my regular J Brand size. I also have a pair of J Brand Houlihan cargo skinnies and like the fit on these much better, the Houlihans are too tight on the calves and loose on the waist. These are also made of slightly thinner (read: less bulky) fabric than the Houlihans. They come with a slightly broken in wash, but I found that mine (black color) faded a little more than I would have preferred over time.

I bought these 1 size down from my normal and they still have that baggy boyfriend look. I am only giving 4 stars because I have another (gray) pair of these same pants and the corduroy on these is not quite as thick and soft. My other pair also had more of a broken in look, even when new, and I was hoping for that again. Maybe that will come over time....keeping because I love the color.
