The fit is true to size (which is always a relief when you buy shoes online), and the soles are soft rubber which makes for a really comfortable fit; initially really delighted BUT the quality leaves a lot to be desired. After just five or six wears (I am 5ft 7 inches tall and weigh under 60kg), the one boot is a disaster. The zip up the back no longer stays up and worse, the heel bends inwards (feeling like it will snap when I take a step). I have consulted the cobbler who says it cannot be remedied; so very disappointing and now I have to ship them back to the US from NZ and hope that it doesn't cost me more than the boots are worth. I will try again as I may have got a 'Monday' pair, but at this stage, VERY disappointing on the quality front!!!
