i got this dress in navy, and it's flattering with really nice details. i like that it's blue and black - not just another lbd, but you can still wear black shoes/accessories because of the trim. i'm 5'2" and got it hemmed a couple inches because it originally came to about my knees, but otherwise the 2 fit perfectly. the center panel on the front and back is unlined lace, but with a little black tank top under and a cardigan, it was perfect for dressier family holiday events.

i love these boots. i was a little worried about the sizing after reading other reviews/because they don't do half sizes, and i'm usually a 7.5. i ordered the 7, and they're roomy enough to wear with jeans and wool socks. they're easy to slide on, and have a great laid-back, a little rugged look/feel. because the two pieces of leather in the front and back are open above the ankle, they aren't too tight on my calves, but this also means the two boots aren't exactly symmetrical - the straps fall slightly differently on the left and right boots. one other thing that's a little weird that i almost didn't notice online is that the leather comes over the sole on the sides/front, and can get scuffed fairly easily, but it's not too noticeable.

i got a size smaller than i usually do because it was the last left and other reviews said these were a little more relaxed. nope. they're a really nice blue denim -- reminded me of the material citizens jean all were when they first came out. the hems can't be un-cuffed; they're tacked in place and the actual hem (inside the cuff) is unfinished, which is too bad because it seemed like they'd fall at an awkward length to be rolled like that unless you're model-height.

i got the black in XS and love it. this dress is effortless and so comfy without looking at all schlubby. i love it for going from errands to dinner, and i think you could dress it up more if you wanted. i'm 5'2" and it's just about the right length for me, just skims the floor (ok, so maybe it's a tiny bit too long but not to the point where it needs hemming or anything, and i haven't tripped or gotten tangled yet). unlike some strapless dresses, i never felt like i had to be tugging the top up -- or like it was cutting off circulation. the bottom is kind of a wrap style, so you end up with a classier version of the angelina leg slit sometimes, but it doesnt go up too high. the top is loose without being poofy, and the elastic helps keep the dress from being too long.

i got this shirt on sale, and it's really soft and fairly flattering. it's a basic white tee with a nice drape. the one thing i wasn't crazy about is the uneven hem -- i didn't expect it to be quite so uneven. it's way longer in the back, like almost tunic length, and the front hits at about the pockets of my jeans.
