So sorry this dress didn't work out
I immediately loved this dress when I saw the photo - especially the neon zipper on the white one. I bought the dress in both colors hoping it would be my perfect summer LBD and LWD! Sadly, the lace fabric is stiff and much thicker than I expected, so the dress doesn't lay nicely at all. For such a tiny dress, it weighs alot! The layers of lining and thick lace make it bulky somehow. The bodice is very structured and not flattering for my bustline (34 DD). The underarm holes are a design feature on the dress so if you have any braline or underarm issues, they will only be highlighted by the cut of the dress. Really wanting this dress to work, I tried and tried to make it work but it just wasn't flattering on me at all. Too bad!

So glad I bought this!
I usually hesitate to buy gauzy, loose dresses - afraid to add unflattering volume - but this fabric was so beautiful I had to give it a try. Luckily, this dress drapes beautifully. The front V has a nice plunge without being too revealing. The back gather lands in just the right spot to flatter an hourglass figure from behind and the tie allows you to create shape wherever you want it. I'm a size 6/8 and I bought the medium. It is a nice fit, true to size. Such a fun dress to wear! It is light as air and so feminine. The black underlayer dress is a bonus too - I've used it under other sheer dresses that I didn't have the right thing to layer with.

Great all around dress
I'm a size 6/8 and the 6 is a better fit on this one - so size down if you have any doubt. The fabric is beautiful and the dress is well-made with a nice taupe lining. A sheer feel with full coverage. The pattern also hides any wrinkles, though the fabric holds up well to wear. The dress pairs well with a white blazer and booties for work; a gold-studded leather belt and sandals for brunch; it's even fine with flip flops for a grocery run. I've definitely gotten my money's worth already!

Eh, frumpy and boring
This was not the all-around easy summer dress I was hoping for. The dress was baggy and over-sized - I'm 5'6"; size 6/8 and the medium was huge. I didn't think sizing down would do much to improve the fit. Boring overall and the fabric didn't have a nice feel. The dress isn't shaped enough to be body-conscious and it isn't drape-y enough to be flirty. The end result was rather matronly.
