This dress is wonderful and a perfect dress to feel refined and sexy in. I am 5'2" and a size 0 to 00 and I got the dress in xxs. It fit perfectly, hugging my waist while the slight flare elongated my legs. The shoulders were a little big, but I have very thin shoulders so I imagine it would be perfect on most women. This is a dress I can easily wear on a date or to a work function. If you are going to treat yourself, this is a dress worth the splurge.
