I am normally a 26 in Citizens of Humanity, J Brand etc. but after reading the reviews I purchased these in the 27. I'm glad I did. Granted, they're still tight because they're brand new but they do sit right on my hips even though I'm short waisted. It took a bit of effort to get them up my thighs since they're muscular.
Sizing: Smaller than Expected

Don't worry if it feels too tight :)
The first thing I will say is that, yes, it IS true to size but only after I wore it for several consecutive days. It stretches a lot! I bought the size 26 and when I first got them I thought about returning because I could barely get them on. And when I managed to get them on, I couldn't breathe. But I trusted the reviews and I'm so glad I held onto the 26 (which is my default size in jeans). These stretched and are now perfectly form fitting. These are a staple in my closet and are so super soft.

Great but long
I bought this dress to wear to a wedding. The colour and fit from the waist up is stunning. However, the model wearing the dress is about 9ft and I'm 5'1. The front hem where it hits the model at the knees, hits me in the middle of my shin. The back was so long and about 3-4 inches dragging on the ground even if I wore 4 inch heels. I had to take it in to get the back hemmed shorter and the side slits I had them adjusted higher. In the end, the dress was still a knockout even though I had it altered. The silk is also VERY delicate and you may see a run or two after wear. If you decide to go braless, your headlights will show.
