While the dress pops up in the little white dress category... it is indeed sand colored. Don't be fooled by the picture, it is off white. I wanted a white tank dress. It is not like the gauzy cotton knit dresses at all, it is made of a dense cotton knit and a dense lining. This may also serve to make the dress tighter than the 10 or 12 other Velvet dress that I own. I am 5'10 and it is as long as the picture shows. I will be returning this tomorrow.
