Overpriced
I'd forgotten how much I paid for this necklace, but upon being reminded I feel like I probably should return it. It just seems hard to justify $125 for a necklace which is so simple without having anything particularly special about it. It seems a bit chintzy in person, or maybe crude is a better adjective. Just in that the manufacturing doesn't seem at all artful or detailed at all. I think that may in fact be part of the idea of the design, that it's meant to be primitive. I'm just not in the mood for it and primitive can still be done more artfully, I feel. Definitely a matter of opinion with this one. But I think average is a pretty reasonable assessment. If this necklace were $75-$80 I'd probably keep it. As it is, I think I could probably get something that I like much more for the $125.

Very Pretty
I love this cami. It is light, comfortable and breezy, but especially it is just so pretty. The print and colours make it a bit different from your standard floral fare. Somehow it's just a touch more modern. The tones of purple and nearly blue purple are what does it for me though. The fabric is lovely and soft. I don't think I could be any happier with it.

Nice Enough
I've bought a few Giles & Brother items and find that I keep rating them 'average' or 'good' rather than 'excellent'. There's always some little issue. With this necklace it's that it's a little smaller/tighter around the neck than I expected. I just thought it would hang a little bit more. I think the price for it is probably very good at $105. I see it as kind of a fall back item, when I can't find a necklace I really love to go with my outfit for the day, this will probably go with a number of ensembles. It's the design that's reminiscent of two safety pins stretched and clasped together which makes it kind of different. If the workmanship were a little more detailed/just better I'd think it was excellent. I think that's really the issue with these G&B pieces-- I wish they were better quality, and I'd pay for it too. That said though, this is still a perfectly nice necklace. I wouldn't run out an d buy it again, but I'm not returning it either.

Sexy Little Studs
These may be a little overpriced at $165, lower hundreds or even less might be more appropriate, BUT I think they're cute enough to overlook that. I'm very happy with them. Much of the reason for that is that I just really like the style. The druzy isn't overly sparkly, but gives a nice subtle shimmer that just catches the eye through my dark nearly black hair. They make me think of some sort of celestial body, like a meteor. Do you see what I mean at all? At any rate I really like them. Would purchase again. The whole druzy thing can be a little tired at this point but I think these earrings are a bit different, a bit special, and will come back to make an appearance in my wardrobe over the years.

Best Necklace EVER
I have to buy another one of these because my mother has stolen the first from me. $132 is a great price for this necklace, not a steal, but a good price. The clasp is much prettier than I expected and not too tricky, but I feel it's secure. What I love so much about this necklace is it's versatility. I can wear it with so many things. With something dressy in the evening it can be rather understated next to more overstated earrings. Whereas during the day paired with a simpler top it really adds something. I'm thrilled with it.

Sweet
This is a nice simple necklace I think I'll get a fair bit of use out of. I hadn't noticed the chain it's on so much when I purchased it, or maybe it's just hard to tell online, but it's lovely in person-- very delicate, catches the light just a bit and sets off the tiny copper pendant well. A good tug from a toddler would no doubt do it in, it is pretty delicate. I'm very happy with the purchase and at $115 I think it was easily worth it.

Very Pretty
This ring is as pretty and delicate as it appears. It is very thin, but not at all flimsy. After putting it on I can't feel it on my finger all day, and it doesn't impede my writing with pen and pencil or anything like that as some wider rings can do. It is very sweet, well made, and I'm happy with the purchase.

Soft Cloth Shopper
I've always liked Cynthia Vincent's "grocery bags"/shoppers and I love this kind of print, so I jumped when I saw this item. The colour is more washed out, kind of sepia tone more than black and gray and I thought it appeared. I would have preferred a sharper contrast to the print, but I still like it. One thing I'm not so happy about is that the material is cloth as opposed to leather. I was in such a rush to buy it that I didn't bother reading the description. I still like it and I'm still keeping it. But with a cloth bag, especially a shopper, it's going to show all the bulges and edges of whatever is in it, which wouldn't be the case as much if it were leather like most of Twelfth St.'s other shoppers I've bought. On the other hand I could probably get this dry cleaned fairly easily. I'm happy with it though, and I think it's definitely worth the price. Would have loved if it had been a thin gray suede though....

Cute Enough
I'm actually somewhat on the fence as to whether or not to return this item. Had I seen it in a store, I may still have gotten it on an impulse. It is cute, but not particularly special. The clasp is very tricky I find, and I really dislike that in a bracelet. I feel like I'm going to break a nail fiddling with it. For the price I wouldn't say it's a good value, but it's well priced I think. Were it $70 I think it would be worth the money and perhaps a bit more fairly priced, put it that way. But you're paying a certain amount for brand and marketing. Nothing too much to write home about on this one, but it's a cute little piece, if you don't mind a tricky clasp. I could believe that it was a variation in manufacturing and others might not be so difficult.

Lovely
I got this chain because I needed something very delicate to fit through the hole in an old pre-ban ivory Buddha charm I'd gotten from my grandmother. Nothing I had would fit through and so I was delighted to find that this one does! It's hard to tell from the photo but the chain is a very bright silver, so I'm hoping it becomes a little more muted with time and use to better suite the charm.
