This dress is super adorable and I would recommend it very highly. Yes the material under the silk is kind of cheap feeling, but a strong, thick material underneath to maintain the great shape of the dress, otherwise it would fall flat. Its going to be great on a hot summer day! I also wouldn't size up too much, its meant to be tentish but buy the size you normally wear.
