Cute! But Flattening & Unforgiving
The material of this dress could not be more comfortable. The colors are also vibrant and I thought the hemline fell at the perfect place. My only issue with this dress is that A) as a flatter-chested lady, it didn't do me any favors and B) that in a profile view it is unforgiving. Think twice about this dress if you have shied away from the "body-con" look in the past. While the pattern may have you covered from the front, the tight, clingy fabric absolutely won't in profile! The neckline was also a bit too tight for my liking. I wish it were wider to show more collarbone. I'm returning it but I have no doubt it could look great on the right girl. A small was the right fit for me at 135 lbs and 5'9". Will definitely look into other Robby Kobo dresses!

Adorable
This necklace, which I've worn exactly one time so far, is a surefire hit. I received many compliments wearing it with a loose boatneck gray tee. And it could work just as well with a formal dress! A definite keeper. The perfect necklace to start with if you're going after this season's festive & chunky accessories look.

Hard to put on
If you have a high instep! Some shoes are like this. Beware! You definitely need some kind of ped or tights to get your foot in. Otherwise, these are a winning bootie: super cute & versatile. Can definitely be dressed up or down. Love!

Unflattering & Shapeless
I would not recommend buying this dress--no matter how enthusiastic you are about the boxy shift trend. To be honest I am not sure who this dress would look good on. While I think the 4 was the right size for my 5'9" 135lb frame, I felt like I was swimming in a pink bag. The back detail, which I thought would be flirty, was not enough to save this boxy and poorly fitted design. It just looked silly and gratuitous. Go elsewhere if you are interested in a loose dress. This is NOT the one for you!

Shapeless
"Average" describes this dress well. I was not a big fan. I tried on as an option for a sorority formal, and it just was not flattering with the bib in front and the non-fitting body. It also came folded in a square, which does not suggest formal appeal. Even though the color was cute, it wasn't enough to win me over. This dress is passable, but not a standout. I think it was true to size (I was a S at 5'9, 135 lbs) but how can you really tell if a dress doesn't doing something for your body shape? I'd recommend this for daytime over night. I might have kept it if not for the $150+ price tag!

HOT HOT HOT
This dress is a total winner. I got endless compliments on it! "That dress is so cute!" "Love your dress!" "Girl, you look hot!" "Is that new?" "Where'd you get that?" "I know I said this already, but I love that dress!" Great material (hard to wear a bra...I'd recommend you don't) and awesome bright color. Modern cut, but not too short or revealing on top. This dress is my new favorite! I'd wear it every night out except my friends would start to notice (they took enough notice when I wore it just once!). Get this dress if you're even thinking about it. That $290 will pay for itself in the number of times you wear it. I was a small (not a medium, which I also ordered, tried on, and returned) at 5'9, 130-5 lbs.

Color not as pictured
I ordered an M in this dress (too big for my 5'9, 135 lb frame) and returned it mainly because the color was a garishly bright brown & yellow, NOT the muted gray animal print I expected. The cut is cute but the bottom goes as high as pictured in the model image...too short for sitting down, like at the dinner I was hoping to wear this to. Otherwise, great-fitting design. The material is substantial--thick not thin, with great textural detail. I would recommend this for someone tall and leggy who wants to keep conservative on top. Overall, not a bad find, and good value. But beware of the color!

Thin material is a deal breaker
I agonized for about 30 minutes over what to do with this dress! I tried on every slip, every pair of nude underwear, and at the end of the day, I realized the $275 was too much to pay for the hastle of actually wearing this in public (without having my pantyline seen). It was virtually impossible to get around the sheerness and clinginess of the fabric tube that the dress is built on. What's worse, it's so thin it will stretch over time, losing its cute, body-conscious shape. The cotton does feel 'cheap,' as another reviewer wrote. I was surprised that Alice + Olivia would use this super thin material in a formal dress. That said, the draping is beautiful, and so is the color. I decided to return this dress ON THE GROUNDS that I find another dress from A + O with the same gorgeous pastel color. For that winning quality, it gets 2/5 stars. For sizing purposes: I am 5'9 and about 130-5 lbs, and felt like a S was the right pick
