I am 5'5, 125 pounds and I ordered the small. The length is perfect , the black color is dark (no see through) and the key will be to maintain it that way. I recommend washing them inside out, with cold water and with a special dark laundry detergent (I use Woolite). I put them in the dryer only for a minute or 2 then let them dry. Also, the waist is ok, not crazy tight, it does not give me that muffin top look !!!
