PERFECT WAXED DENIM
In love with these! they fit like a glove, the denim is buttery and the waxing perfect! I have several pairs of the high rise version and I wear those to death when the weather permits, and these fit and feel even more fabulous in the low rise! I'm normally a 29 in regular denim, but SIZE DOWN in the rocket leatherette. I'm a true size 28 in all of these. They are very stretchy and you will be swimming in your normal size. I love that there are no unnecessary labels or pocket designs on these too, unlike other brands of waxed denim that keep their pocket signature designs. J Brand is great at simplicity as well - but I have not found their wax to hold up as well on their waxed denim, and their denim is not as soft in my experience.

Perfect lounge piece
I love these bralettes, I have 3 now and one bandeau. I am a small size 32-34C and bought the M - It fits but keep in mind these are minimum coverage - they don't totally cover your bust, but come down low, and don't give a lot of support. They kind of flatten me out, but I actually don't mind that for a contemporary look. They are soft and have held up well through hand washes (and machine washes in a laundry bag) - air dry. The cotton is very soft, and they are great under racer back tank tops or transparent tops that show your bra because they add style rather than looking like you just didn't have the right bra to wear with your top.

Not Sure for the price
I bought these on the 25% site wide sale. I'm normally a 29 in most denim, but anything that is stretchy I have been fitting into a 28 (example - CoH rocket leatherette jeans 28). I ended up keeping the 28 in these, though they are pretty tight. The wax is not as waxy as I would like them to be, and the denim not as buttery as citizens leatherette. The details on the knee etc. are great, but I'm afraid the fit isn't spectacular compared to how Citizens fit me, and are the details worth $200 when other waxed denim fits better? Especially on black which you will not see the details anyway? The zip pockets in front are faux, which is ok. They might be going back, but I haven't found something similar for a better price yet. Not as flattering on my body type - 5'6 135lbs athletic legs. Still thinking about it.

Cute, but tight arms!
Got this dress in black. The cut is very flattering. I am 5'6" 135 lbs. The small fit beautifully in the body but I could not even get my arms into the sleeves. The fabric does not stretch very much. So I kept the medium and had the body taken in about 3/4" on each side. I could have done with 1/2" on each side because I like things to fit more loosely, but my boyfriend says it fits perfect now. Still true to the boxy fit but not over done. I also like the length of the medium better, because I can lift my arms without the fear of flashing my bum. The arms are still a little tight though. My upper body is always 1-2 sizes smaller than my lower, so I think the arms are just small on this piece. Also, the fabric is thick and not see through, a plus! But it's not the nicest fabric. For the price, it's a great dress!

No Good
I love J Brand but the high rise on this jean was awful. Honestly I did not read the obvious "High Rise" in the desription or I would never have purchased them.. my fault. They ran too small so I could barely get them on. The half coated leg was just not flattering, and my boyfriend didn't like the look on me either. There is a reason these are on sale. Needless to say I returned them.

NOT SURE YET
I just received these, and I am still debating if I should keep them. I thought I ordered them in black but the color is actually green ("forest" if I would have read the item description more closely). The green is actually really cool. But I'm worried that they will just look glittery once the wax starts to wear. I wish that these were the "PEncil Leg" jean in the forest color. They fit slightly smaller than other waxed J Brand jeans (though J Brand can sometimes run small anyway), but i still fit into my normal size 29. They are very slim in the leg, so that plus the coating causes a lot of wrinkles in the back of the thigh. The rise is slightly higher than I prefer, but they are a pretty cool pant for going out. I Forgot I paid $227 for them! Not sure if I will keep them or wait for J Brand to do the Pencil Leg waxed skinny in other colors (or did they already??)

Odd Fit - not flattering
These were an instant "NO" for me. They run one size too big, but the fit is just odd anyways. For a girl with bigger legs and not very tall, (5'6, 143lbs) these did not look good on me. The color is too light for my figure and made me look bigger rather than slimming me down like a skinny should do. They are going back right away.

Nice Jean
These jeans are slightly thinner than normal J brand, a little papery feeling, but also really soft and comfy. Order a size up from your normal J Brand size, and these jeans will love your curves! No need for hemming. I am 5'6, 143lbs (usually a size 29, ordered a 30). They are flattering on athletic legs. I'm not sure if these are the perfect every day jeans... maybe they could use just a little extra something like more dramatic crease lines or something, but all in all a great jean. The medium wash is nice, much better than the lighter version of this jean. Not sure if I am keeping just because I ordered the Clay Pencil Leg and several others from J Brand and received them today.. decisions decisions!

IN LOVE
This is the first item of clothing in a long time that I have instantly fell in love with. I just received them today. I did not expect them to look right on me, since all J Brand jeans are different and sizing can be tricky. I have another pair of waxed jeans by J that i love but they do have some extra bunching. But this FIT IS AMAZING. I always get a 29 in J Brand, this was no exception. They are worth the price for the color, texture, and fit. I am 140lbs, 5'6, Most of my weight is on my bottom half (bigger legs, normal butt, smaller waist in proportion, and smaller torso). and they are super flattering. I am worried about the coating fading... the wax coating nearly washed off of my other J's even though i followed the instructions. But everything about these pants is so rich that I will keep them and just never wash them (or dry clean).
