white denim for the spring!
i am usually a size 28 in j brand and i ordered a 27 and 28 to see which size fit better because some reviews say to go a size down. although i could do the 27, the 28 felt more comfortable, so this jean fits true to size. these jeans are super comfortable and quite flattering. i love the high rise (not high-waisted) and the placement of the back pockets on the butt. being 5'1" i'm trying to decide if i want to hem the bottom so it hits flush at my ankle vs. scrunching at my ankle. for now i'm just cuffing them and that works fine. these are the perfect white jeans! xoxo

Blank Denim
Vegan Leather Leggings
Horrible Zipper
After reading all of the positive reviews, I thought that I would LOVE these. Once I tried them on, I realized that the leather look was just okay and the zipper was impossible - definitely pinched my skin the first time I tried to zip them up. Sorry, don't need any zipper drama when I'm trying to put my pants on.

Not as good as first run
I bought the original France Wrap boots in a size 6 a couple years ago from a boutique and about a month ago I was taking the boots off and the heel and foundation of the boot broke - waaaaah! These were my trademark boots and I wear them year round - they are my favorite pair of boots, so it was no question that I would need to replace them. I was delighted to see that they were back in stock at shopbop. I ordered a size 6, but quickly realized that they changed the sizing of the boot from the original run. I ordered a 6.5, which is my true size, and they fit perfectly. I like the replacement boots, but I agree with some of the other reviewers in that it makes absolutely no sense to have the shoe size and "France" imprinted on the inside of the boot because when you flip it down it looks ridic. I'll have to find a way to scratch off the gold lettering so I can wear them flipped down in the front - not ideal. In another couple of months they will be perfectly broken in!

meh
i'm 5'1" and was hoping that these jeans would hit at the perfect length because they are "highwater," but that was not the case. the distressing was a little lower than it should be and the cut at the waist was not flattering. had to return these guys.

Daftbird
Raw Sleeve Tee
This shirt is JV
Ordered this in a small and it's definitely a very roomy shirt. Even with a larger chest to fill the shirt in, the neckline isn't really all that flattering. The arm holes are huge so it just makes for an overall sloppy look. Nope, didn't pass the test.

Dope
I am usually a 28 in J Brand and these fit perfectly. One of the main reasons I got these were because of the 28 inch inseam (vs. 30 inches), which is perfect for my 5'1" frame. Unfortunately, they were a little longer than I would've liked - the fall closer to the lower ankle and work well with flats and pumps, but not booties. With respect to the color - I absolutely love the color and the coating - it's not the leather look/shiny coating, rather it's something a bit more subtle. The zipper in the back is a dope touch.

Comfy and Cozy
I ordered this shirt in a S and M and ended up keeping the M. The small fit, but I felt like it was too stiff and had too masculine of a cut. For some reason the M fell on my curvy body in a more flattering way. Love the black and white print.

Sexy Lumberjack
After a recent trip to Portland, I was inspired to get a comfy flannel shirt to wear with skinny jeans or leggings. I ordered this shirt in a S and it is perfect!!! The fabric is soft, I love the pattern and for a person that's 5'1" it is nice and long and has a very flattering cut.

Maison Scotch
Parka with Wire Hood
Swimming in it
I absolutely loved this jacket when I saw it online. I am 5'1" and usually a size 4/small. I ordered the small (or Maison Scotch Size 2) and when it arrived I probably could've fit 2 of me in it. It's a gorgeous color and I loved the lining, but I fear that even if I went down a size, it would still fit pretty big. Not recommended for petite gals.

J Brand Does it Again
Once again I have fallen in love with a pair of J Brands. I am 5'1" with a curvy, petite frame and there is something about the way J Brands are cut that fit me like a glove. I typically wear a 27 or 28 in J Brand depending on the amount of stretch. If you are like me, and go between 2 sizes, choose the bigger of the 2 for this style. These floral cropped skinny jeans are beautiful on and you can easily dress them up or down. Because I'm on the shorter side, I don't have to get them hemmed and they are the perfect length. I can easily wear them with heels, wedges or flops. Definitely going to be a staple in my spring/summer 2012 wardrobe.
