For those 7.5-8 - DON'T size up!!
I'm usually a 7.5-8 (mostly 8 for winter boots) so, based on reviews, I bought these in an 8. TERRIBLE idea. These might've been more comfortable in the 7.5, but in the 8 my feet keep slipping to the front of the shoe (and I bought, like, every conceivable insert there is trying to make these work - nope). I have wide feet but a high arch, and somehow the arch on these hits exactly the wrong spot, yet when I attempt to add any arch inserts (no matter how slim) it just bumps the top of my foot uncomfortably against the stiff leather. They're JUST about bearable for an evening out if I wear super-thick socks and stuff them full of inserts, and carry flats in my bag just in case. Aargh! I would have just returned them, but it's a hassle returning internationally and they looked *just* barely cute enough to keep and try to make work. Unfortunately, they're just so painful that I find myself not reaching for them. Also: brown leather looks matte and cheap. DEF sticking w/ Fryes in future.

Just OK
Hmm... not that impressed. The size (M) was fine (I'm usually a 27 in J Brand, 26 in Hudson) but they just weren't as cute in person - the ribbon is sort of thin and wrinkly (not sure how they got it to look so perfect in the picture - did they iron it? LOL) and they are SO short in back I don't think I can even wear them around anyone but my boyfriend. And my butt is (regrettably) on the small side, so if *I'm* almost showing cheek, imagine these on a larger one! They're not worth sending back internationally for the sale price, but I won't be buying JC's flannel shorts in future. Love Shopbop for its low and SUPER fast international shipping, though!

Didn't work for me
Had to send this back internationally, but thankfully the Shopbop return is fantastic - got an email within a week saying they would refund my order! This watch seemed to be exactly what I was looking for from the photos, but sadly on my tiny wrist it looked gaudy and comical. The watch face was nearly wider than my wrist itself, and that alone I could have lived with, but with the crystals it was ludicrously Kardashian-esque and tacky. I love a little bling (which is why I ordered this!) but it was just too much. Maybe it would look nicer on much larger wrists, where more of the tortoiseshell could be seen and not just a massive blingy watch face. I also didn't love how the face, which looks like an iridescent golden-peach in the photos, looked a bit duller and more tan-peach in real life. Still longing for a decent watch, and love the Kors rose gold band, so impatiently waiting for Shopbop to restock the MK section!

Amazing going-out dress
So sexy, so flattering. This skims across the body so beautifully and highlights the bust in a *just* short of indecent manner - very hot-date-worthy. At 25, I was looking for something a little more sophisticated to go out at night in (my club/cocktail wear from college looks a bit juvenile now), and this is perfect! The neckline/strap area is unique (though it seems like there's a gap right where the bra strap would show, so may have to go strapless) and keeps it from being too standard-party-dress. I'm 5"4, 115 lbs, 32DD and ordered the small. I had also ordered a minidress from Velvet in size small and found it to be hideously unflattering (the ruching added like 10 lbs to my otherwise fairly small waist), and breathed a sigh of relief when I put this on! Will definitely look to VPL for dresses in future.

LOVE!
Love this! I'm 5"4, 115 lbs and bought an S (only bc the medium was sold out). I was worried it wouldn't be long enough from reviews, but actually, it's perfect and fits just like on the model (maybe bc I'm short-waisted) - any longer might look odd on me, since it already reaches halfway down my thighs in the back. The cashmere is soft and on the thin side, which I think is v. nice for this sort of drapey sweater. So cozy! I was surprised I actually love this as a cowlneck - usually not a cowlneck fan, but this just wraps you up in tons of floaty fabric (not the usual droopy look), sort of as if a scarf was added to a sweater. It's VERY sexy as an off-the-shoulder look (almost too sexy for my student lifestyle, and I'm not that modest!), though the draping is trickier than I imagined bc of my somewhat-bustiness (32DD) - it keeps pushing up above my bust area. I think this would drape much more seamlessly across smaller chests. Overall, love, and worth the $200 on sale.

Verrry unflattering
This must look great on some people based on the reviews, and it looks fab on the model, but this was def. not for my body type. I'm 5"4, 115 lbs, short-waisted, slim but curvy hourglass (32DD, 27 in J Brands), and got size S. The horizontal ruching and extra fabric on this were so unflattering on me, turning every curve into an exaggerated lump, and somehow managing to not even accentuate the waist - it skimmed over it in a way that made it wider. The arms were nicely slim-cut, and the neckline was a pretty scoop; it was really only bad from the chest down (longer than expected, too - I had to fold it up a couple inches to get it the same length as on the model). BTW, unlike the other reviewer's, the sleeves were 3/4 length. It was so bunchy and unflattering I would have to return it for $30, let alone $130. Shame, since it was comfortable and seemed like the perfect casual/dressy/all-season dress! I think this would be most flattering on those with narrow-ish hips.

LOVE it so much I bought two!
I got this in the taupe color and loved it so much I actually bought another one - in the SAME color! I never do that!! My reasoning was 1.) the taupe fabric seems really delicate, and I would be crushed if I ripped or stained it, 2.) it's so unbelievably soft and comfortable that even if I do rip/stain one, I'll happily use it around the house, 3.) it was on crazy sale (around $40). I would have bought another in black, but as a brunette I'm not sure how often I'd reach for a long back dress (seems a bit funereal for me - would look great on a blonde), and the black wasn't a good enough sale to lure me in (still $95). I'm 5"4, 115 lbs, 32DD, slim but curvy hourglass, and got the S. It's a bit loose around the waist, plus pretty much reaches the floor unbelted, so I think I'll always wear it belted (looks amazing with a woven cognac belt). My SO approvingly called it "frumpy-sexy", LOL. I think it's just sexy! I'll want to wear it daily year-round but will restrain myself.
