Polished Summer Sandal, But Not Comfy
I like these sandals for how spartan and simple they are. They are very well-made and absolutely true-to-size for me. I got these in tan and the color is perfect. The sole is non-slip so you won't have to worry about slipping at the pool or in the mall. My only grouse is that for something so flat and so clean in design, it really isn't very comfortable. I think it has to do with the fairly thin rubbery soles. I wore them today and as I was walking I could actually feel the strap end that was tucked under the bed of the right sandal. (Think Princess and the Pea) It drove me crazy and I had to take them off. The sandals are really beautiful, but I can't walk in them!

Great Basic
This sweater is very comfortable and soft, and the textured detail is interesting. However it is HUGE! Size down!

Unexpected! A Grown-up Friendship Band!
This is a friendship band by any other name. But oh, what a gorgeous, grown up and refined friendship band it is! The craftsmanship is very fine. The bead quality is excellent. The juxtaposition of colors, and textures - matte, translucent and metallic - is perfection. The way the beads catch the light is similar to how reflectors on a safety vest bounce the light and catch your eye. So so so gorgeous! The only problem, I feel, is the very grown up price!

Disappointment of a Dress
Encouraged by earlier reviews, I ordered this Tucker dress. Unfortunately, I will be returning this and wasting postage from 9303 miles away. First, it was too short and too narrow at the hem. On the model, it hits a little higher than mid-thigh, so I assumed that on me, it would be more like "above-the-knee". When I tried it on, it was so short that it felt like a tunic. And the hem area was so narrow that it was hard to slip it on and I could hardly walk without hitching it up. Second of all, the cut was just not as flattering as I imagined it would be. The balloon-blouse style turtleneck top looks great on the model. But if you are not stick-thin or if you are busty (like I am), that's what you will look like - a balloon. Lastly, I felt that the quality of the dress was less than desirable. The shirring looked cheap to me and there were loose threads with poor finishing. I really do expect more for a dress that costs $286, Is it worth its sale-price? TUCKer NO,

Bright & Beautiful!
Unlike my last pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans (see my old reviews) there is nothing muted about these red skinnies! What a fresh shot of color these inject into my wardrobe! The red hue is bright and pure - almost luminescent. I'm not brave enough to color-block them with another bright, although this would be spot on trend this Spring. I'm conservative, so I will pair these with my blacks, whites and denims. Because the majority of reviewers before me recommended sizing up, I sized up from my usual 30 to a 31. These fit snug - as skinny jeans ought to. I suspect they feel a tighter because of the fabric is Japanese twill, and so has less give than power-stretch or similar J Brand denim. I'm thankful for the mid-rise as it is forgiving and comfortable. It says "ankle" length, but I'm only 1.6m tall so these hit below my ankles like normal skinny jeans. Not a problem as I can roll them up. If you are looking for 1 bright piece for Spring - this is IT!

Gorgeous fabric & color, but SIZE DOWN!
DKNY needs to get their sizing fixed! This Tunic/Dress is HUGE!!! Luckily for me, I tried it in the stores when it arrived and so I knew I had to size down by 2-3 sizes. I usually wear an M for DKNY, but for this particular piece, I was a P! And even in a P, I was swimming in it. I'm sure it's the intended style, but if you don't want to look like you are wearing a tent, size down! Do note that if you size down, you may not be able to fit the slip/lining that comes with it. You won't really need it anyway as the tunic isn't translucent. Color-wise, be prepared for a slightly different shade than on the images. Somehow, Spring's Brights don't always look the same online and in reality. I got this in Pool Blue, which I felt was less eye-popping than the Kelly Green. I feel that it appears a little more muted than the pictures. That said, the fabric is gorgeous, the workmanship superb and the cut forgiving. I think this is a great item for Spring.

Elegantly Edgy Rock Goddess Necklace!
I just received this morning and I'm elated with it! I didn't think I could like Fiona Paxton any more than I already do, but this Brooklyn necklace is out-of-this-world-COOL! I LOVE it! It is well made, detailed, falls perfectly and looks great. The heavy metal chains and leather reminds me of Balmain. I can't wait to wear it and I imagine that this will be something I will keep in my collection to pass on to my little girl when she is older!

Easy but Edgy Tunic
I was hesitant about purchasing this as it looked like one of those things that look better on models than real people. I also had reservations about how flattering a drape like that would look on someone with curves. Happily, this was surprisingly easy to wear. I paired it with leggings. The draping was arty and cool, but it didn't add much bulk. It did feel a little strange on as the draping pulls and sits on the body with a sort of tension that made me feel like tugging it. One thing I didn't like was the big gaping hole where the twisted material sits. This was not shown clearly in the photos. If you don't want to show your belly or hip, wear higher rise leggings or skinnies. Don't even think of sewing it up - it won't be possible without affecting the aesthetics of the tunic. Finally, the texture of the tunic was a little scratchy. Still, it's going for a bargain - so despite the complaints, I think it's a good deal!

Beautiful Little Bag, Sloppy Strap
This is a beautiful mesh bag. I didn't like the plain gray zipper, but my main grouse with this product was the poorly made strap. It has rough edges which caught on my silk blouse and caused a run. No problems when I wore it with my cotton shirt. Since it is an evening bag, you do need to be extra careful what you wear with it. Off hand I'd say no silks, wool or other delicate material - which effectively means 90% of all evening wear.... So so sad.

Super CUTE!
Yes, it is a little larger than expected, but it isn't shapeless at all and is very comfy! The sweater material is a little thick for tropical weather, but it's not too warm because of the roomy cut. The style is very casual, but the gold tone zips, the detail and the lovely color keep it classy. LOVE it and expect to wear it often with my leggings or skinnies.
