I ordered these pants under the assumption that I would have to send them back - yet another victim of my quest for some light brown / camel pants. However, when I put them on, I was pleasantly surprised - they were stretchy enough to accommodate my athletic thighs and hips, did not immediately lose their shape (still going!), and were the perfect length (I'm 5'5''). If I were any taller, these would be too short - right now they are just above ankle length. This is my first pair of Current/Elliot and I am now willing to try this brand again in the future. I ordered a 25, my normal size, and they fit well.

I typically wear a size 25 in jeans, so that's what I ordered when I picked these out. However, the 25 was too big - baggy in the knee and thigh areas. I sent them back and ordered a 24, which I was skeptical about, because I have never worn a 24 before in my life - not surprisingly, they were too small. I liked these jeans because I was looking for a pair of high waist black skinny jeans, but these just weren't designed for my body.

I read the reviews before buying these and they were correct - they do run about a 1/2 size small. I usually wear 7.5, but ordered an 8 - they fit perfectly.

I ordered these pants in a size 26, one size larger than my usual 25 in AG Jeans, due to the light color and my desire to avoid any unflattering pulls or bunching of the material. When I tried them on, I was disappointed by the color - lighter than in the picture and bland. I was optimistic because I have had success in the past with AG and I liked the composition of the fabric - stretchy because I have curves, but when I put them on it was a disaster. These are not pants for athletic yet curvy girls like me. I am 5'5'' and a size 2. I will still buy AG in the future, but never this style.

I returned these because they were not as stretchy (and therefore not as well-fitting) as I expected. My main frustration with James Jeans is that in one style I can be a 24 and in another style I feel like the 26 is too small. The color was great, but the fabric was a disappointment - I wasn't confident it would retain shape after more than 20 minutes of wearing. Runs a little small.
