super cute boots, the fit is great and they are comfy like all Rachel Comey boots. they are described on other sites as black and white, Shopbop weirdly does not have a color description for them other than 'checkers combo'. they are more like a dark charcoal and in some lights a blue gray, which can look weird if you are wanting to wear them with black tights. still, amazing boots.

it's cut narrower than i expected, i'm really glad i got a size up.

this skirt is a nice thickness...it's not sheer like so many maxiskirts, it has 2 layers and hangs nicely in a slight bell, pretty much like the picture. but it fits large...i got a medium and wish i got the small. i'm in canada so for me returning stuff is a huge pain. it has laces up the side so i figured i could tighten it if it was too big, but they don't allow for much tightening. loosening, sure, so if you are in doubt DEFINITELY go a size down.
