These shoes are so amazing that I had to post a review on them. I always wear black booties and whenever my old pair needs replacing I hunt for new ones. These are so amazing that I think I will buy two, possibly in another colour. The leather is amazing, the height of the heel comfortable enough for everyday use and there seems so be some cushioning at the base of the shoe. Usually when I buy boots I size down because I don't like when the back of my heel pops out. I bought a 37, and I am usually a 7 US and 38 Euro. My Nike's are a 7 and these fit perfectly. I also believe the leather will give and soften a lot too. So if it is snug I suggest sticking to it. If you want to wear thick socks though, I would size up a 1/2 size (if they come in half sizes). No regrets. Worth the money because you can't put a price of quality.
