I love Current Elliott jeans - I have 3 pairs already. And I wanted these jeans to have a bit of a retro look happening: silk blouse, camel blazer, nice hat and heels with big leather tote. But the jeans looked like fancy dress to me. I know that flared jeans never went "out" in the US - in fact when we were wearing exclusively skinny jeans here in Australia, the Americans were still wearing bootleg, flared and skinny jeans.. Now they're kinda fashion forward here in Australia - but these just looked REALLY flarey, were really long (I am 5 ft 7 and 59 kgs) and just looked silly. I bought a size 26 and they fit me. Around the butt and hips they were really good - but the leg was really scary flared at the bottom. Sorry - I returned them. I am not searching for a nice pair of jeans to replace my CE skinny crop jeans.
