runs large
I love this top! especially the back. but that's what made you even consider this top for in the first place, right? I wish I got the 0 instead of the 2 when I still had the chance. This thing is quite loose on me and I normally wear 2/xs. Looking again at the model picture, however, it fits loose on her too, so I'm guessing that's how it's supposed to fit. The ruffles on the front are slightly heavy so it drags the neckline down, but not too much. I would not size up on this or else the neckline would get extremely low. You can probably wear your true size, a size down, or maybe even 2 sizes down depending on how you want the fit. There's no shoulder seam so shoulder size is not a big issue either. I didn't get the 0 because I never wore this brand before and was afraid it was going to be tiny and I couldn't lift my arms.
Sizing: Larger than Expected

exactly as pictured!
I love this dress! Makes me look lean, tall, and elegant. A mix of goth, boho, and girly lace, it's just perfect! Not to mention effortless! What more can you ask for? Okay, yes, if the material wasn't poly synthetic plastic I would love it 100x more, but for now it will suffice. If only designers will stick to silk and cotton.
Sizing: True to Size / As Expected

love the velvet
I don't know what the first reviewer is talking about, this item runs true to size, if not slightly large, in comparison to other designer brands such as Nanette Lepore. I am usually a 0 in pants and a 2 in tops/dresses because of my chest and shoulder. I just bought 10 dresses from shopbop during the code sale and i got all of them in size 2, this one ran slightly larger than the other ones.
