Giles & Brother
Multi Archer Collar
Cheaply made
The style of this necklace is lovely, however it is cheaply made. I purchased at a higher price than it is currently and returned it. I could tell the clasp would not hold up over time--it did not line up properly and the spring mechanism would catch so it would not close. At the current price it may be worth it--just don't expect it to last too long.

Saturn Dip Dye Tee
Not a flattering fit
I was disappointed in this tee. It was not a flattering fit on my body. It was fitted in the bust and loose everywhere else, and bunched around the hip area. It might look better on a more boyish body type.

Meh...needs something
I ordered this in both a small and a medium. I tried the small first, and it was too big in the back waistline area on me. I'm pregnant so I need room to grow on the other side, not there! It would probably look even worse on my normal body. It fit reasonably well elsewhere, except for being too long, which at 5'3" is to be expected. I almost didn't try the medium, but it was oddly more flattering; it helped that it was a kind of loose everywhere rather that just at the waist. Still, it was kind of boring, and the racerback is not usually the most flattering style on me anyway so this went back. I guess I thought I'd try it since I thought it might work with my pregnancy.

KAIN Label
Classic Pocket Tee
Not flattering on a large bust
I had been wanting to try a Kain tee for awhile...but I knew it would be sheer so I thought it best to try a darker color first. It was still extremely sheer. It was also very long on me (I'm 5'3"). My biggest issue with this tee, however, was the position of the draped pocket, which in the photo appeared to be a nice detail. It sat right along the bottom of my boob and kind of went out sideways...not a nice look. It would probably work better on a flatter-chested gal. Oh well...now I know Kain, at least in this style, is not for me. I'm very happy about free returns.

Malibu Tank Maxi Dress
Order down if you're not sure
I ordered this in a medium, I don't know why I didn't get the small. I think I was afraid it would be too small in the bust (I'm 34DD) and I'm pregnant so I needed some room to grow. A small would have been fine on me (even with room to grow), but on the size chart I am more of a medium--although small often fits me best. The straps especially were too long, it would have been nice if they were adjustable. At least in the medium, with the fabric, it looked a little too nightgowny for my taste...and not in a good way.

Legacy Jeans
Great jeans!
I finally got a pair of Legacy jeans in my correct size (27), and I love them! I purchased the red leather, which is definitely more of the plum color pictured (this is what I was hoping for). The sheen is not too much so they are wearable for day. I think they will look great for spring with pale colored tops & shoes, and for now they look great with my winter gear. They are probably too heavy for the heat of summer but I never wear jeans then anyway. I love that they hug my curves all the way down to the ankles. I'm 5'3" and most "jeggings" are loose on me around the ankles. These do bunch a little but are still fitted which is nice. They feel very tight and hard to get on at first, but they conform to my body and are very comfortable to wear. They hold me in and smooth me out a bit where needed (around my upper thighs), which is not something I get from leggings. I will definitely buy R&S Legacy again!

Pour La Victoire
Portia Platform Pumps
Frustration!
I cannot begin to express my frustration with these shoes. I ordered an 8.5 and a 9. I could barely cram my foot into the 8.5 (my normal size) but my heel was slipping out of the 9. I compared them side by side and the only difference in the two sizes was in the forefoot--the rise to heel cup was exactly the same length. The toe box area on the 8.5 was much smaller and narrower--it looked like it belonged on a shoe 3 sizes smaller than the 9. I think PLV chintzed out on their sizing and used the same rear last on the 8.5 and the 9, but used a much smaller front last on the 8.5 to make up the difference in length. I imagine this will only be an issue with certain sizes. I could tell the 9 would have been very comfortable if my foot were just slightly longer! It had a lot of cushioning and did not feel as high as it is. The shoe is beautiful--it looks like a YSL Tribute...I wish it worked for me.

Selby Pointy Toe Suede Pumps
Too narrow in the toes
I got a screaming deal on these from another site (about 40% off) and I was so excited to receive them. I ordered an 8.5, my usual size. Alas, they were too small in the forefoot. My foot is somewhat wide in the front and I have a longer big toe, but the front of my foot was so scrunched in these! There was a lot of pressure on my last two toes. The ankle felt okay though, so it may just be the design of the shoe...they are more tapered/pointed than they appear in the photo. In the photo the point appears shorter, if you get my drift. I am not sure if a 9 would be better, but the site I ordered from only had 8.5 and I can't pay full price for a shoe I will only wear on special occasions. If they fit my foot they would be absolutely beautiful, and there is a lot of cushion in the footbed. Maybe I'm just not used to pointy shoes...I may wear them around the house to see if they break in a bit. Sigh.

Legacy Skinny Jeans
A little too tight for this color
I am normally a 27 but 26 was all that was available, and I really loved the color of this jean in the photo, so I thought I'd try the 26. The 26 was tight but not uncomfortable since the fabric was so stretchy. I thought I'd wear them around the house for a while to see if they would stretch out, as mentioned by another reviewer. They did stretch but were still too tight in the thighs, and I ended up with weird horizontal creases under my butt which were not flattering. The color appeared lighter in person, and unfortunately this was not good for me, especially with the tightness of the jeans, since at first glance someone might think I was wearing nothing! I still loved the color, but something like this needs to be *slightly* looser. I don't know if the 27 would have worked better for me, if they come back in stock I may try them but for now I'll have to continue my search for flattering rose colored jeans!

Club Monaco
Sandra Square Scarf
beautiful but very delicate scarf
I ordered this scarf in pastel rose. The color is beautiful and the scarf is very soft. I agree that it is a very open weave and is very easily pulled. I have found that I can get most of the pulls back in by stretching and manipulating the scarf, but it is a hassle. Also, I have to be very careful when I do this because due to the open weave the threads get out of line easily...but this is not very noticeable when the scarf is layered, which is how it's always worn anyway. I would have been disappointed in this scarf at full price, but at half off I will keep it since I don't have to be so worried about its longevity.
