Silver Reed Pullover
Too boxy
I ordered this in an x-small since it was oversized, and being short these things sometimes end up too oversized. I definitely would not have gone up in size, but the sweater was still not flattering on me. You'd probably need to be very slim and flat-chested to pull this one off. I ordered the multi and the colors were beautiful.

Malika Suede Pumps
Beautiful, fun shoe
I ordered these in my normal 8.5 during the big event sale, and desperately wanted to make them work, but I found them a bit small. I sadly returned them and suddenly a 9 became available. Shopbop was kind enough to send me the 9 at the same price. The 9 may eventually become a bit loose but I can always remedy that with an insole or heel strip. The color is beautiful, heel height is just high enough but still comfortable, and the padding is great.

Bryn Leather Shorts
Unfortunately not for me
Generally shorts with a skirtlike flare are most flattering on me, and these turned out to be more straight. They would probably look better on a less curvy body type. They did seem to be a great quality for the price.

nice bracelet...runs small
If you have larger wrists you probably will not be able to wrap this bracelet five times. My wrists are fairly small and I have mine on the loosest setting, and it's fairly tight wrapped five times. The leather on this one is slightly metallic, and the beads are very sparkly. I have the garnet mix version, and it will go well with pinks, purples, burgundy, gray or black.

DKNY
Convertible Sweater
good idea but didn't work for me
I mostly bought this to use as a cardigan but liked the idea of versatility, but it didn't work as well as I'd hoped. As a cardigan the sweater unfortunately wrinkled up under the arms across my back, and it was very long and tentlike as a pullover, though I am only 5'3". I thought it might look okay with a belt but since the cardigan version did not work I decided to send it back. I did order a P/S which was plenty big as a pullover, but maybe the M/L would have been better as a cardigan and not have pulled across the back--but since I wanted it to work both ways I won't be exchanging it.

West End Pullover
Big and long sleeves!
I should have ordered an x-small in this sweater. I am currently 8 months pregnant, 34DD, and the small was big on me. The sleeves are way too long (almost to my fingertips) and loose (I'm 5'3") so my only option would be to roll them which kind of ruins the look. I imagine an x-small would be better but I don't even know if that would solve the sleeve issue...this may only be a good sweater for taller people, as the sleeves even look a little long on the model. The knit is nice and soft, however, and especially on sale it was a good price, so if you're tall this may be good for you.

Ray-Ban
Wrap Aviator Sunglasses
Not bad...but not what I expected
Many Ray-Bans are made in Italy so I was disappointed to see these are made in China. I ordered the gray color and I think I thought the lenses would have a bluish tint but they're just gray. They also are a little smaller on my face than I expected, and they sit right on my cheekbones so when I smile they push up (this is a common problem with sunglasses for me). I only keep one pair of sunnies at a time to wear regularly so they have to be perfect, and these just didn't do it for me.

Pretty belt
This belt is beautiful, as it should be for the price. It helps to get it on sale. It should be noted, however, that the size range is more limited than indicated by the measurements posted by Shopbop. I ordered a small and there's no way it would fit up to a 30" waist. I am currently pregnant with less than a month to go and needed something to look forward to--but I measured the belt to make sure it would fit me when I'm normal again. On the loosest hole I think the biggest it would fit is 29", maybe even a little less since it has to overlap. There are only 5 holes (4" total apart) and the difference in each hole is spread out over three wraps so each hole does not make much difference. This is definitely a waist belt, you won't have enough leeway to wear it as both a waist and hip belt. If you're not sure assume the belt will only fit the smaller end of the range in the size description.

Frye
Vera Slouch Boots
Runs very big even for Fryes
I have two other pairs of Frye boots (Engineer and Carmen) in 8.5 and they fit comfortably but well. This pair is longer in the foot. I would definitely size down. A half size down would probably work for me, but my foot is a little wide so narrow footed people may want to consider going down a full size. Other than that, the finish on the boot is beautiful--maybe a little more brown in real life and I was expecting more gray. It is slouchy which is cute. The front part of the sole is thicker than I expected, giving it a slightly clunky look. My brown Carmen three-strap is more flattering and will go with almost everything this boot would go with so I probably won't reorder if my size comes in.

Frye
Engineer 8R Boots
Cute but a little heavy looking
I have tried these boots in both the 12R and 8R versions. I am 5'3" and the 8R were better for me since the 12R hit in an awkward place right at the bottom of the calf muscle and kind of made me look like I had cankles. Taller gals may prefer the 12R (I sold mine on ebay and almost recovered what I paid). These can look a little heavy and clunky but are cute when worn right--they're just not quite as versatile as I'd hoped. If you have a high arch like me they are a little difficult to get on as the prior reviewer described, but once on they are perfectly comfortable. I live in a snowy area and these are great for slushy days--and they hold up beautifully to nasty weather. They look great with boyfriend jeans and leggings, but not so good with skinnies where there's any bunching at the ankle (since I'm short most of my jeans bunch). Still a worthy purchase and get tons of compliments.
