The Basic Brando Tee
Okay
The colour/pattern of this top is really attractive and adds depth to plain outfits. The fabric is a silky jersey, which feels nice against the skin, and makes this a more elegant choice for a tee. I do prefer cotton (ie natural fabric) tees however, so this is not my favourite tee, and the fabric had an off-putting chemical smell that took 3 washes (gentle) to get rid of. I bought a size medium in this, which is my standard size in Vince, Theory, et al, and it fit perfectly.

The Stadium Sweatshirt
Fun top
This top is oversized - but I feel it is meant to be. It is comfortably slouchy and nice over fitted bottoms, such as skinny/stiletto jeans. It looks edgy-prep over the C&E prep school shirt; a little better than standard collegiate fare. The fabric is soft and the army colour is flattering to my sallow complexion. I bought it in size 2 and I like the slouchiness of it. I take a medium in most tops, eg Vince, Theory.

The Prep School Shirt
Nice weight
This shirt is a better-fitting boyfriend shirt (not sloppy), which looks good on it's own, or peeking out under pullovers. The colour is soft and flattering (I have a sallow complexion), and though the top is semi-sheer, it is not too revealing, eg my bra is not outlined although in the sun, my silhouette is (if you are very self-conscious, you may find it too revealing). The fabric is a little crumpled (though you can press it out), but I prefer it crumpled, casual. Size 2 is perfect for me - I take a medium in most things, I am 5'9" with a 34C bust, 27" waist.

Striped Favorite Tank
Perfect tank
This is a sharp tank (I bought it in both colours). Both colour combos add zip to basic outfits, and the material is so very soft. The fit is always perfect with these tanks. I wear a M, and I am 5'9" with a 34C bust, 27" waist (I have lost weight since previous reviews but have worn Vince tees and tanks in all of my sizes - up to 30" waist).

The Buddy Trouser Pants
better than pictured
Originally, shopbop showed these on another model, and the fit on that model is what I ended up with - a little more fitted, not so baggy. The fit is slouchy, to mid-thigh, then tapered, comfortable yet not so different than other slouchy chinos. The fabric is soft, a little thin, and a nice "worn-looking" fatigue. I have other C&E pants, and their fit on me is as follows: boyfriends/captains which I prefer not too sloppy, fit me best size 29; rolled skinnies/straights, fit me best size 30 (although I did have a problem with one pair of skinnies that were too tight at the knee in size 30). I bought these in the 30 and am very happy with them. For reference, I am 5'9" tall, with an approx. 28" waist, 39.5" bottom, with an athletic frame, i.e. I don't have skinny legs.

Rib Inset Boat Neck Tee
very elegant tee
I love this tee; it is very flattering and feminine. It is a little slouchy, but not sloppy and the colour is just as pictured, a soft powder blue. The neckline remains close and does not scoop out, as some boatnecks do. The fit is not boxy; it loosely skims the form. I usually wear size M in Vince tees, and bought this in M - it fit as expected (and with a flattering, not revealing length). For reference, I am 5'9", with a 34C bust, approx. 28" waist, am brunette with a sallow, easily tanned complexion.

Little Boy Tee
always a great tee
These are my favourite tees - soft, nice length (not so long you have to tuck them, or tuck them to mid-thigh!!; not so short you reveal muffin-top in low-rise pants - they hit me just below hip bones), and they have a flattering sleeve length and cut. Crew neck tees suit me best as I have a smaller bust 34C, (waist approx. 28"). The dark olive colour is very flattering (I am brunette with a sallow, easily tanned complexion). I bought size medium (my regular size) and it fit perfectly; a little loose, as pictured. (They are also easy to wash - inside out in a laundry bag, cold or warm/cold water in the washer on delicate, preserves them for years!)

The Rolled Skinny Jeans
nice jeans
Very soft fabric, nice blue (lighter than pictured). Fit is good - I am 5'9", with a 28-29" waist, 39.5" hips, and I purchased size 30. The fabric does give, so jeans get a little slouchy, but it's not too much (I just wear a belt with them). FYI, my cousin-in-law bought the same pair - she is really slim, though not very toned (she says) and she doesn't like how as she walks her thighs "kind of quiver" under the fabric; she believes it reveals her "lack of tone", that the fabric is too soft and thin.

The Skinny Jeans
sadly not consistent
I own several pairs of Current and Elliott shorts and pants. I have found the sizing strangely consistent in that the really baggy styles (boyfriend, captain) fit me best in size 29, the rest (rolled skinny, buddy, straight), fit me best in size 30 - they give some, but I like the slightly slouchy look. I ordered these in size 30. They "bit" me hard behind the knees, particularly the right leg, and the leg opening was very narrow (hard to get over the foot, again particularly on the right side). For reference, I am 5'9", with a 28-29" waist, and 39.5" hips. Maybe they were defective (I bought the rolled skinny in 30 at the same time and they fit exactly right). Back they went (which cost me $30, so you know I really didn't like them).

James Perse
Tug Neck Raglan Sweatshirt
not what I expected
I like James Perse, I own a lot of James Perse, mostly size 3; and was advised to purchase my regular size based upon my mmts; so I ordered this top in size 3. It was too large in width, very sloppy and the neckline was awkwardly wide and loose. For reference, I am 5'9", 34C, have a 28-29" waist, with strong but not big arms. This might have been a defective version of the top, perhaps it would have fit better had I sized down, I don't know. I do know that I definitely expected a better top from a brand that I am very familiar with.
Sizing: Larger than Expected
