Cozy, Chic, Flattering
I think I wore this to work 3x the first week I got it. It's so soft and cozy. I've tried belting in front and back. I find that belting in the front requires supreme flatness underneath -- no bunched up blouses, you need flat-front pants (no full pockets), no muffin-toppings, etc. So, I default to the back belt. You can also pull up to slacken the fabric above the front belt to circumvent some of the fatty-looking effects. But this is a minor alteration and you may not ever want or need to belt this in the front. Perfect rainy or cold day top layer.

Enduring wardrobe staple
Monrow fabrics and cuts make my day. Great base layer.

Comfy and cool and jewel toned
Really love these. A bit longer than I anticipated from the photos but I roll the cuff above my ankles. They stretch but stay firm. The dark, alpine green corduroy color and the weight of the corduroy is perfect for Fall and the holidays.

Soft basic with surprising style
I've worn this much more than I expected to during a week-long stint in colder climes. It was a great base layering piece with a couple of pieces on top. The high-neck peeked out on top and the stripes peeked out below. Also, just really soft and comfortable!

Suck it, Tupac hologram
The most glamorous sweatshirt in my closet. The fit is perfect. I wear a tank top or t-shirt underneath when wearing low-waisted jeans. I love the thickness of the cotton which holds the distinct, boxy shape, and lifts the purple shine. I'll admit it. It's my karaoke go-to.

wardrobe staple
I wore my first Paula Bianco wrap scarf into the ground. This new replacement is so soft, fluffy, brightly hued, and thick. I didn't even realize how much wear and tear I put my first scarf through. Warning: the weave is loose on these scarves. It can be very easy to get them snagged on rings, buttons, zippers. If your scarf does get caught, and it seems to be unraveling, just pull the threading back into shape.

Firm hold above, cool style below
Spanx needs to design more products like this that utilize its "tight end" technology yet infuse it with some outward facing style. Wore these tights with a loose, floaty, short dress, and a pair of heeled booties. Good classic tights with a little textured flair and substantive support around the core.

Made in China
I have a couple of Giles & Brother pieces because I like the sturdiness of the make and good construction of their designs. The encrusted Cortina Cuff is somewhat unusual for G&B given the detailed gem work and bright color. I was very disappointed to find that one of the stones had come loose from the cuff during delivery. Worried that the bracelet would become a long, sad story of more missing stones, I returned the cuff without having worn it. Not a fault of the construction, but more a personal design preference, I also wish the cuff's edges were a bit closer together since there is a lot of negative space between the two. Displeased to report that the Cortina Cuff is costume jewelry quality at a relatively high price.

In between sizes? Size down.
I wanted a trim, cropped, above-the-belt fit so I sized conservatively. Worked out great. I love this top! I got multiple compliments from stylish strangers on its very first day out. I wore a light gray camisole underneath and a wide belt with jeans. Great look. Glad it worked out so well.

Delight led to immediate disappointment
Loved the look and feel of these sandals from a distance. So much that I decided to spend $112 on a sandal that is pretty equivalent to one you can get for $50-80 elsewhere. When I first put them on, I loved the cushioned sole and the elegant ankle buckle. Glad that I had bought a pricey, but seemingly well-made sandal. I wore them to work. Within 15-minutes of easy wear, in a carpeted office, the left sandal broke! The threading that holds the toe-strap together came completely unraveled and the leather pieces were separated and detached. I walked around at work for a whole day in a brand new pair of broken sandals. Pissed and disappointed. Poor craftsmanship.
