Superior Quality
First item I've purchased by Victoria. Her dresses are more expensive (though I got a great sale price on this one), but you can tell why as soon as you wear one. The overall quality--fabric, fit, construction--is noticeably above average. The fit & flare style of this dress is very flattering. I love it. The sizing runs small--I got a size 10 (US 6). For comparison, I wear a 2 in Nanette Lepore. I am 5'2", 115, so I think this dress fits well for petites.

I lusted after these shoes, but...
They are just too narrow. I wear a regular/medium shoe width, and I ordered my usual size 7 and couldn't get it on my foot. So I re-ordered the 7.5 (in the emerald green suede, as the black was sold out), and they were still too narrow across the toes. I was heartbroken to have to return them, especially the green suede, which is beautiful. The shoe is beautiful, love the heel and overall lines, but just not for me. I would say you have to have a narrow foot to wear these.

Great dress, but not for Petites
I wish I could have kept this dress--the style is pretty, a little different, and flattering. But at 5"2", the body of the dress was too long. The waist was too low for me, sitting more at my hips than waist, which is not flattering and makes the back bunch up. But if you're a few inches taller, I would recommend you try it!

Nice Dress
I had to return this dress in size XS because it was a little too tight in the armholes, and the waist felt a bit too high. And I'm only 5"2", so this might be a problem for taller people. I love the stretchy wool fabric and forgiving fullness of the skirt, so I may reorder and see how the size S fits. The sizing of this brand is inconsistent, which can be frustrating. I recently ordered a dress in S and had to exchanged for XS. And even the XS had a generous fit.

Runs Small
I generally wear a size 2 in Nanette Lepore dresses. I buy a lot of her clothes because they tend to fit a shorter person (5'2") well. I ordered this skirt in a 4, and it was so tight I didn't even try to zip it. I think I would have needed at least an 8 before this would fit my hips, and then the waist would probably gap. The fabric is nice, and I love the green color, but the fit does not work for me.

Flattering, easy fit
I had to exchange the S for an XS--this dress runs large compared to others I have by Marc by Marc Jacobs. It was especially large around the armholes. But the XS fits well and I like it better than expected. I thought I might not like the look of the zipper up the front, but it is invisible. My only complaint is that I can feel the zipper against my skin at times. If I had paid full price, I might have returned due to this, but for sale price I'll tolerate a little discomfort/design flaw. Also, the fabric belt that comes with seems a little "cheap" compared to the nice silk of the dress, so I will probably wear another belt.

Pretty Dress, Couple of Problems
I ordered this dress in size 2 & 4, but neither fit. I'm 5'2", and the dress is just cut too long in the body for a shorter person--the waist and pockets sat too low, on my hips. Even if it had fit better, I'm not sure I would have kept it because of two problems with the design and construction. The pockets are lined w/ a bright pink fabric, and this fabric kind of folds outward and is visible--the pockets don't lie flat. The second problem is the way the armholes are cut in, and sort of square. I don't know if it would fit this way on everyone, but on me it created little blobs of fat in that area were arm meets torso. Not attractive. The floral print is beautiful, and if it fit one's frame like the model in the picture, it would probably be a lovely dress.

Pretty top, but poor fit for me
This top is very pretty, but I had to return it because of the fit. I normally wear a 2/4/ or size small in tops, but this one is cut very slim. It was hard to get on/off, even with the buttons open, because it's so tight through the shoulders and body. An even bigger problem for me was the length--this does not fit well for petites. (I'm 5'2", 115 lbs). It is so long and narrow around it did not fit over my hips--It bunched up, especially in the back. Not flattering. I could only recommend this item If you are taller w/ a very slim build.

Nice dress; didn't fit
I loved the style and print of the dress, but it is made to fit someone with a slim, straight figure. If, like me, you are smaller on top with bigger hips (i often wear one size bigger in a bottom than a top), this will probably not fit. The size 6 fit in the shoulders and sleeves, but was stretched tight across my bottom, so I had to return it.

Great Dress
The fit of this dress is good for petites (I'm 5'2", 115). The collar is more draped--doesn't stand up so high as in the photo--but still looks nice. The fabric is a good weigh and hangs well, and the pleating at the waist allows a good fit for those of us with smaller waist and bigger hips. Overall, very happy with it. I give it 4 stars rather than 5 because the wool fabric is a bit rough/scratchy against your skin, and for the price I though it should be softer.
