Satisfied my denim maxi skirt craving
This skirt is selling out on other sites so I took the plunge and bought it. I did have to size down because my regular size 26 was not available. I can manage the 25 and I am really at my upper end of a 26 at the moment (around 55kgs, 5ft 2" curvy bottom). It feels a little tight across my thighs and a little loose around the waist but I think if I bought my normal size I may not have had this problem. I can manage the length with 4-5" heels. Not 100% sure about the distressing and the frayed hem but it is accurately depicted in the photos. I am relieved I did not have the dark panel in the back of the skirt - mine is more evenly coloured except for the back pockets which are dark patches. The thing I don't really love is the middle panel in the front of the skirt. It kind of looks to me like they cut a pair of jeans open and added a panel between the legs. I suspect this is actually what they did. Overall the skirt is quite flattering on and love Shopbop's fast shipping!

Resistance is futile!
I loved this cardigan as soon as I saw it but since we are actually going into summer here in Australia I decided I did not need it. However I noticed it was selling out in some sizes on other websites and when a quick trip to the cooler climate of Melbourne came up I found my weak justification to buy it now and I have no regrets. It's gorgeous - I love the wrap style, colours (I got the tan, green, rust and navy), quality, grain of the knit and the warm weight. It only gets as low as 65 degrees here during the day in winter so the 3/4 sleeve might not work in cooler climes. I am a aus 6-8 and I thought it fit fine. It's bulky but fit fine across my small shoulders and the wrap belt allows you to slim the waist. Love, love, love - no regrets about my unplanned purchase.

A conundrum
I wish I didn't love this dress so much as I know it is going to cost me a lot of money and I won't wear it much. Pros: Amazing quality, lovely fabric, lined skirt, feel like a million bucks in it. Cons: Very long. I am only 5ft2" but even with 6" heels it is unwearable and drags on the floor by a couple of inches. Due to voluminous skirt altering will be expensive. Cotton fabric but formal style dress - its just a bit too nice for casual but due to the cotton I probably wouldn't wear it as a formal dress either. Was very wrinkled when it arrived. Hope that it was just due to postage and won't happen when wearing it. Probably dry clean only job. I didn't check the label but due to the masses of fabric it would be difficult to wash and iron. For Australians I am a size 8 but I can wear a 6 on the upper half if the girls don't get in the way. I have a 33" bust and 26" waist. The 0 fit perfectly. My heart says keep it but my heads says no. I know who will win :-

High expectations not met :-(
Based on other reviews I was really looking forward to receiving this dress however it did not live up to expectations. Firstly the black fabric is very sheer, so sheer, I don't think I would wear it in public without a slip. My bra and legs were clearly visible through the fabric with light behind me. Possibly sexy in the right scenario but not for every day errands I run. Second, you can see in the photo that there is a large white panel that runs around your hips. Unfortunately on me this was not expecially flattering. Length wise I am 5ft 2". With 6" heels the dress skims the floor. I am not complaining about the length per se as most things are too long for me. The problem is the white panel at the bottom of the dress. It is not hemmed and ...well its white. I don't think it will stay looking nice for me unless it is taken up as I imagine it will get grubby and might fray. I haven't decided whether to keep it because I love black and biscot colours and the racer back style.

Watch the toe space!
I really like the design edge of these shoes and the quality. The only downside is the toe box is extremely tight on my slightly wide feet. I find them true to size in length and the footbed seems wide enough I just think there is not enough leather to stretch across the top of the foot. Despite these shoes fitting slightly odd on me its not to the point of being unwearable. Wish they were a little bit higher but for the sale price I give these 5*s. They look great!
