I love these. As proof, this is my 2nd purchase of Yosi Samra flats. I have bought a 3rd pair since purchasing this pair. However, my first pair - leather version - were a size 10 and fit very comfortably. In fact, I imagined I could even fit into the size 9 in those. These - the suede ones - in size 10 are a little snug. I wish they were a little bigger. A 10.5 maybe would be perfect. I am guessing it is the suede vs. leather that makes the difference. I buy them on sale as I think they are more reasonably priced then (especially since I have to pay international customs). That is, all 3 pairs of my Yosi Samra flats were bought on sale.

A little short, but I will wear it with thick tights and flat shoes. I love it. I ordered a size M since it looked like a lot of material and it was. I have a bigger upper body and a flat bottom, so it balances me out. I had to steam when I arrived as it was very creased. Lint sticks to it very easily, so I sprayed it too.

I ordered this skirt in size LARGE. It was too big for me - way way way TOO BIG. I drowned in it, even though I am about 5'9" and a size 14 in GAP skirts. The material is quite lovely, but this skirt made me look like a Whale. (I have no hips and a very flat bottom.) I returned it.

I bought my first pair of Yosi Samra flats on sale at CA$ 36.24. I give the Yosi Samra flats 4 stars out of 5 stars ONLY because I think they are a little overpriced at full price. If you have any of the GAP flats, these are a lot like those (including the little bag they arrive in). I plan to buy more of the Yosi Samra flats. Maybe I will purchase more of these at full price if I really LOVE the pattern. However, I will buy Yosi Samra flats on sale again and again - FOR SURE! I bought size 10 (just like I get in the GAP flats) and they fit well. I probably could also fit into the 9. As a final note, these flats are best kept for the office and other indoor places. The streets and sidewalks will tear into them.

I returned this skirt because: 1. It was way too big for me. Please note: I am 210 pounds; a size 10 to 12 (think GAP sizing with zippered skirts); 5'9"; and have no butt or hips. I am the epitome of APPLE SHAPED. 2. The skirt didn't sit on me properly. A bubble is created in the front (very baggy , balloon-like in that one spot) right under the tie. On the plus side: it had MBMJ logo all through the inside. On the plus side: it is well made. On the plus side: for linen it is thick.

Even at a sale price of $146.09, this skirt is overpriced. I realize it is made of silk but it is so thin (very transparent as previous reviewed noted), it is truly overpriced. Even with tights under it, I would have to find a slip of some sort to wear under it; or perhaps, a pair of carpi leggings might work. Not sure. I think it could easily tear, like tissue paper. One a plus side, I don't usually like 'snake skin' print (and this is snake skin print IMHO) but the green and purple (not really a navy) makes the snake skin print nice. On a plus side, this is a slimming skirt: the cut really works in that regard. My recommendation: save your $146.09 and put it towards a skirt you really love on shopbop.com. Don't fall for the SALES like I so often do. 70% of the time SALES work out for me; so it's worth the risk. In closing, I honestly think the $35 customs I paid to get this skirt into Canada is what the skirt should cost in total. (BTW: I am size 12 on bottom and 5"9').

For Fans of Alexander McQueen (& Iosselli of course) ... The item is exactly as pictured. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know what to say as I think the image says it all. It's the nicest item I have ever purchased on shopbop.com. It's perfect for the person who loves extra long necklaces and perhaps likes Alexander McQueen for example. The only flaw was in the packaging: way too much packaging for a necklace. When the box arrived I thought a pair of boots or a large tote had been sent to me in error. The box was that large. I wish shopbop.com had more environmentally conscious packaging policies. Other than that, all is perfect with this item and shopbop.com!

I bought this in a size 8. I am usually a size 12 in GAP skirts with zippers. This skirt fit perfectly. I thought, from the picture, it would not be slimming (but I didn't worry since I have extremely narrow hips and a flat bottom). But it is very slimming. The pockets are perfectly placed IMHO. I will wear it with black tights in the early fall. It's a nice length to wear with bare legs too. The pattern is very unusual and even prettier in person. The icing on the cake: the sale price. I plan to buy more from this designer.

I have this skirt in Ivory. As per the previous reviewer, I too would not wear this skirt without tights. It is very short. It seems shorter than 15 inches; yet when measured that is what it is. If you wear it lower on your stomach, it can look longer. I am apple shape, which is apparently what 40 percent of American women are; thus, the fact that this skirt makes one look small on the bottom is not the best thing for me. Apple (equals) small bottom (plus) top heavy. I am looking for skirts that make me look proportionate top-to-bottom. It is gorgeously made and top-notch quality. I wear a size 8 in Takoon Addition or a size 12 in GAP (L.A.M.B. size 12 is too big for me) and this skirt in large fits fine around my waist (if a little tight).

I wanted to love this skirt but it has too much material, which causes two problems: 1. I ordered it in size 12 and I am plus size. Yet, it is way too big for me. 2. I have no bottom and no hips. Yet, it is way too big for me. ***usually I am a size 12 in GAP and I wear a size 8 elastic waist in Thakoon Addition. I cannot imagine this skirt not making people look larger than they are actually are. There is just way way too much material even when belted. It's like a balloon. I think you will definitely need to wear a belt because of the draw string (the draw string is good since you can adjust it however). I thought about ordering the smaller size; however, I imagine the amount of material would not change all that much. My daughter says that "the way the pockets are positioned makes it look like an apron".
