Pretty & Springy, But Unwearable
I love the print of this skirt and the multiple colors make it a great piece to add to a Spring wardrobe as it will match so many different tops and shoes. Following the sizing guidelines, I ordered a French 40 which is the equivalent to a US 8. In theory. In reality, this skirt was so tight I couldn't even get it to begin to zip. I measured the circumference of the waist and it was 24"; that's more like a US 0 or 2. It's definitely not an 8! Moreover, the description says the material is stretch cotton. Yet there was no stretch! Even if the waist had fit, the bottom of the skirt was so tight, stiff, and unforgiving that it left impression marks on my legs (in the one minute it took me to attempt to try it on). What is going on with this piece? So disappointing that it didn't work; back it goes.

Violet J Brands
The usual perfect fit of J Brand in such a gorgeous shade of Spring purple. It doesn't get better or more simple, yet stylish than these skinny jeans!

Long Tank
A Pretty Basic
A barely pink hue in a classic, basic tank from a designer who knows how to make covetable tees and tanks. There's plenty of stretch, but the tank itself holds its shape and doesn't stretch out. I tend to go with either a 2, when I want to wear it as a base layer or a 3, when I want to wear it solo. (For sizing reference, I'm 5'10, 144 lbs, C cup.)

Fabulous Enough to Buy a Second Pair!
I bought my first pair of these 7s about five months ago and have worn them countless times (as in, they are so fantastic that you wear them, wash them that night, and wear them again the next day). I purchased this second pair so I can stop the madness of washing and wearing day after day, but also because the stylish distressing have disintegrated into pretty sizable holes. Now, they look more distressed than ever so with the addition of this pair, I can choose between a minimal versus maximum distressed look. Bonus because these don't stretch out in the waist or knees, look amazing on a regular thin day and a dreaded fat day, and the denim is soft and stretchy without looking soft and stretchy. No way you can't love these jeans!

Cio Dress
Big $$$, But You Get What You Pay For
Each season I'm fortunate to stumble across a dress so amazing that it becomes both my go-to piece as well as my season favorite. This is that dress. I really hesitated spending that much -- especially considering I had to go with a 4 when my usual size is a 6 -- but I got it today and when I tried it on, this dress made me feel like a total babe, but also so sophisticated, sexy, beyond pretty, and classic, yet super trendy. The cut and style is unique and the simple silver and black pattern, and the elegant, but highly wearable fabric, make this dress THE dress to have for Spring. Because it's not body-hugging, I was able to get away sizing down. My only concern are the slits that are thigh-high on both sides. I will likely take it to the tailor to have the seams closed a couple of inches, but other than that,I can't wait to wear this dress a thousand times! Silver flats, super high heels in a bright color, traditional pumps or wedges will all work beautifully. Total love!

You Won't Believe How Sexy This Skirt Is
I've been looking for a long skirt to rotate into my Spring/Summer wardrobe and when I received this one: Yowsers! I bought it because I've loved other pieces I've purchased from this line and because the color is so quintessentially Spring. It's a poppy, eye-catching shade of salmon without being exaggerated like many other bright colors defining the season, making it infinitely more wearable. The slits rise to just above mid-thigh turning what I consider to be the usual frumpiness of a long skirt into a much more figure flattering style. I like to wear the waist of most bottoms very low (I can't stand anything pressing into my tummy) so I had the skirt hemmed. Unless you're at least 6' or plan to wear 4-5" wedges, hemming will be necessary. My tailor kept it nearly floor-skimming as I plan to wear it with flats and a simple (probably silky) tank in any light shade - champagne, nude, blush -- for a casual, but surprisingly sexy look. This material does wrinkle; smooth it pre-sitting.

Equipment
Sloane Cashmere Sweater
If They Make It, I Will Buy...
This is my FOURTH Sloane sweater. I bought three colors through Fall and wore the devil out of them and even though I've just received this one a few days ago, I've already worn it twice. This is the most perfect sweater ever. It's lightweight, but cozy, and the fit is beyond compare. I'm 5'10 and it's a challenge to find a sweater that has an element of body consciousness, but also doesn't expose my tummy if I raise my arms. This one fits, but doesn't swallow me nor does it expose my midriff. The color is a mix between a blush and a cream and the lightest of lilacs (depending on what it's paired with). I've bought both the medium and large in this style and the fit is essentially the same except the large gives a touch more length in the sleeves and I prefer that. Like any cashmere, this sweater does pill in high friction areas, but an electric piller from a fabric store will run you about $15 and will keep your Sloanes in tip-top shape. If Equipment offers more Spring hues, I'll buy.

Incredibly Sweet & So Pretty
When I first took this dress from the package my immediate thought was "Nightgown!" But once I slipped it on (and know that it's sheerness will definitely require a slip or some other manner of lining) I loved the flowy fit and the 'hang' of the dress on the body. The mint is such a soft color. Gorgeous against most any skin tone, I'd think. I love a high/low cut and the 'high' is perfect. For me, the 'low' was too low, hitting me mid-calf. So I took it to my tailor and she modified the back so that the width of the black hem is the same length all the way around. This raised the "low" part to just below the back of the knee. I can't wait to wear this dress!

RED Valentino
Gabardine Shorts
Fab Shorts + What's Gabardine Feel Like?
They're definitely shorts, but when on this item appears much more like a short, super flouncy skirt. I love them. Seems like they'll work well with any number of tops and styles of shoes. I ordered the EU size equivalent to a US 8. I love waistlines to sit low, but I could pull these up and down without unzipping. The 6 would have fit, if not the 4. I don't know if it's merely the pair I received or if it's an issue with the item sizing itself. This is a fun item to add to the wardrobe, just beware the sizing issue. And if you are like me and don't have a clue about gabardine (the fabric), I think it's best described as a stiff, thickish cotton that doesn't over-wrinkle.

Enza Costa
Oversized V Neck Tee
Cute!
Yes, it's gigantic. But it is so cute, so comfortable, and so perfect to pair with white or black jeans for a casual, but stylish weekend outing. Wore it this past weekend and despite its size it's surprisingly flattering to the figure, in part thanks to the sheerness of the fabric. Only downside is, like every other Enza Costa tee I've purchased, this one has endless loose threads. The finishing on this line's tees are the worst I've ever encountered. It's just obscene. Who's sewing their tees? And who's doing product management/quality check?
