Bright & Beautiful!
Unlike my last pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans (see my old reviews) there is nothing muted about these red skinnies! What a fresh shot of color these inject into my wardrobe! The red hue is bright and pure - almost luminescent. I'm not brave enough to color-block them with another bright, although this would be spot on trend this Spring. I'm conservative, so I will pair these with my blacks, whites and denims. Because the majority of reviewers before me recommended sizing up, I sized up from my usual 30 to a 31. These fit snug - as skinny jeans ought to. I suspect they feel a tighter because of the fabric is Japanese twill, and so has less give than power-stretch or similar J Brand denim. I'm thankful for the mid-rise as it is forgiving and comfortable. It says "ankle" length, but I'm only 1.6m tall so these hit below my ankles like normal skinny jeans. Not a problem as I can roll them up. If you are looking for 1 bright piece for Spring - this is IT!

Gorgeous fabric & color, but SIZE DOWN!
DKNY needs to get their sizing fixed! This Tunic/Dress is HUGE!!! Luckily for me, I tried it in the stores when it arrived and so I knew I had to size down by 2-3 sizes. I usually wear an M for DKNY, but for this particular piece, I was a P! And even in a P, I was swimming in it. I'm sure it's the intended style, but if you don't want to look like you are wearing a tent, size down! Do note that if you size down, you may not be able to fit the slip/lining that comes with it. You won't really need it anyway as the tunic isn't translucent. Color-wise, be prepared for a slightly different shade than on the images. Somehow, Spring's Brights don't always look the same online and in reality. I got this in Pool Blue, which I felt was less eye-popping than the Kelly Green. I feel that it appears a little more muted than the pictures. That said, the fabric is gorgeous, the workmanship superb and the cut forgiving. I think this is a great item for Spring.

Elegantly Edgy Rock Goddess Necklace!
I just received this morning and I'm elated with it! I didn't think I could like Fiona Paxton any more than I already do, but this Brooklyn necklace is out-of-this-world-COOL! I LOVE it! It is well made, detailed, falls perfectly and looks great. The heavy metal chains and leather reminds me of Balmain. I can't wait to wear it and I imagine that this will be something I will keep in my collection to pass on to my little girl when she is older!

Easy but Edgy Tunic
I was hesitant about purchasing this as it looked like one of those things that look better on models than real people. I also had reservations about how flattering a drape like that would look on someone with curves. Happily, this was surprisingly easy to wear. I paired it with leggings. The draping was arty and cool, but it didn't add much bulk. It did feel a little strange on as the draping pulls and sits on the body with a sort of tension that made me feel like tugging it. One thing I didn't like was the big gaping hole where the twisted material sits. This was not shown clearly in the photos. If you don't want to show your belly or hip, wear higher rise leggings or skinnies. Don't even think of sewing it up - it won't be possible without affecting the aesthetics of the tunic. Finally, the texture of the tunic was a little scratchy. Still, it's going for a bargain - so despite the complaints, I think it's a good deal!

Beautiful Little Bag, Sloppy Strap
This is a beautiful mesh bag. I didn't like the plain gray zipper, but my main grouse with this product was the poorly made strap. It has rough edges which caught on my silk blouse and caused a run. No problems when I wore it with my cotton shirt. Since it is an evening bag, you do need to be extra careful what you wear with it. Off hand I'd say no silks, wool or other delicate material - which effectively means 90% of all evening wear.... So so sad.

Super CUTE!
Yes, it is a little larger than expected, but it isn't shapeless at all and is very comfy! The sweater material is a little thick for tropical weather, but it's not too warm because of the roomy cut. The style is very casual, but the gold tone zips, the detail and the lovely color keep it classy. LOVE it and expect to wear it often with my leggings or skinnies.

Classic Belt - Expect Lots of Mileage!
This is the first belt I purchased from DVF although I'm a fan and I love collecting DVF dresses. This double buckle is classic but different. Gold hardware brings the chic factor up a notch. The green nubuck and brown leather is a subtle play on color and texture, making this belt more interesting than if only one hue and material was used. My only complaint is that it's a bit smaller than described. Love it though and will definitely keep it!

Wrong Description, OK Jeans
The description was for a pair of red high-rise skinnies. In actuality, it was a mid-rise. I'm crazy for high rise at the moment, so I was disappointed to receive this. The red hue was more muted than in the photos, but a cute color nonetheless. The material was very soft and comfy. However, although I stuck to the same size as I usually wear of COH, this pair was a little too snug for my comfort. So so sad as I had high expectations for this pair of jeans....Still, I am keeping it as shipping it back is too much of a cost and hassle for me.

Scores high on hue and comfort
This is my first pair of COH jeans. I am a big fan of J Brand jeans and haven't bought any other brand since I had a taste of my first J Brands! I even abandoned my Seven For All Mankind jeans for them. With this pair of COHs, I was very attracted to the high waist, unique pocket details and the cool faded blue hue, so I decided to give it a go. These are not as stretchy as J Brand's high waist jeans, therefore, don't expect as clean a line as with J Brand skinnies, especially in the high waist area. However, the denim that COH uses for this pair of jeans feels much smoother and softer than any of my J Brands. It fit rather snug when I first tried it on and I was contemplating having it returned. But after some wear, it stretched out nicely and felt just about right. Did this pair of COHs convert me? I'm afraid not. I love the design so I'm keeping them, but I still feel that J Brand is unbeatable!

Expect Compliments!
The first time I wore a Fiona Paxton necklace out (it was a Tulip necklace), I got compliments from 2 complete strangers while riding the lift and just walking down the street, and then again from the sales staff at Marni where I was looking for more accessories. ^_^ Who doesn't love compliments? I jumped at the chance to own this Trina when it was on sale, and I'm VERY happy with it! It feels very heavy and luxurious, and tough and edgy at the same time. I especially appreciate the uniqueness of a very metallic necklace that sits on textile and looks furry because of its design. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
