Amazing
This is a great dress. The fabric is much better quality than most other Alice and Olivia items I own. Don't be afraid of the horizontal stripes, they are actually very flattering.

Versatile and different
I have this in the goldenrod shade and love it. Perfect with a blazer for work or dressed down in the summer with some flat strappy sandals. A much better deal at sale price. As for sizing, it's a little tight around the hips. Looks much better with the cowl secured shut at the bust.

Perfect
This is a wonderful dress. The raisin color is so flattering and the side zippers (in rose gold plating-beautiful) can be zipped for modest coverage or unzipped further up the leg for a little work-appropriate sex appeal. Fabric is quite lush, flattering and does not wrinkle easily. Perfect for travel, work or evening.

Too heavy and larger than expected
I'm giving these an extra star for the affordable price and decent quality. Otherwise, these are not for me. They are on the heavy side and quite large. Normally I love huge statement earrings a la Basketball Wives/Kyle Richards but these are a bit over the top, even for me. Also, the center stone of the jeweled part of the earring is actually brown in real life and doesn't really match the rest of the earring. (It looks black in the photo) Unfortunately, I have to send these back.
Sizing: Larger than Expected

True Red
I love the red shade of this blouse - a lush, true red. DVF's color description of "pomegranate" is spot on. The fabric is an excellent quality silk that drapes beautifully. Love it. However, there is one small problem with this blouse. Not a deal breaker, but a small inconvenience nonetheless: the top layer of the front of the shirt has no snap or button or tie to secure it into place. The tie is secured to the top by two loops at the side, it's not attached to the side of the torso as it would be on one of DVF's wrap dresses. So, you have to pin or tape the shirt down or tie it really tight to keep it in place!

I like it!
This is a really cute sweater, no complaints. One caveat: if you are large chested, it's a little cropped. Nothing that a tank underneath cannot fix. I'm happy.

Ratty after wearing twice
I fell in love with this sweater when I received it in the mail. The blackberry color is absolutely stunning and it is so incredibly soft. It fits beautifully and is so flattering! I was so ready to buy multiples of this sweater, one in the pumice shade and another in the cayenne that I saw in the Free People shop. However, it is already looking very ratty and tattered after two wears, I think that this is due to the acrylic content in the knit. I tried fixing it with a lint shaver and sent this to the drycleaner hoping that they could fix it up, all to no avail. Love Free People's sweaters and always get sucked into the trap of buying them only to have them fall apart on me after minimal wear....wish they lasted a little longer for the price, which is not insignificant. I think this will be the last Free People sweater I buy. Time to take up knitting.

Letdown
I bought this in the cherry red, expecting it to be a bright yummy maraschino red, but was dismayed to find that the red shade is a dull red in person. Kind of like a tomato that is out of season, very lifeless color. This sweater is oddly cut. It is way too cropped and there is no way to wear this other than way off the shoulder. In real life, it is not symmetrical, as it appears on the model. I have also seen this pictured on other sites worn boatneck with a cami underneath. Again, this is not the way it can be worn in real life.

Just okay
I bought this in the pastel colorway and was really excited for the mailman to deliver this Free People sweater. Upon arrival, my hopes were dashed as this turned out to be a very muted and for lack of a better word, blah in color. I was expecting a 70's vibe but it was very drab in person. Also, the bottom hem has a tendency to roll upward. Not for the larger chested - I sized up and this still was quite unflattering.

Finally - a long denim skirt.
I've been jonesing for a long denim skirt for a good long time. This is perfect and affordably priced. Excellent purchase. Can be worn year round, very versatile item.
