I'm 5'6 and I ordered an 8. The shirt fit fine around the waist but was a little too short for me. If I was just walking around in it--it would be fine, but any chance of sitting would be a little risky! But that said--it is billed as a "short skirt!"

I love this piece! Can be super casual and dressed up a little with heels. It's ridiculously comfy but looks polished and dare I say--sexy! I'll be wearing this thing out!!

It wasn't casual enough for a chill night out and it was too thin to be dressy or appropriate for work. Returned it.

The waist is weird. I think the placement of the drawstring makes your middle look chunky. Definitely not the look I'm going for!

I wanted to wear this as a dress, but it's just too, too short--even with leggings. I'm only 5'6 and it didn't cover my backside so I'd have to wear it with jeans and that kinda defeats the purpose--at least for what I was looking for with this purchase.

Very casual, but the gathering at the bottom and fringe make it kinda flirty and fun!
