MJ's done it again
This is such a cute top - a simple design with a stylish art deco twist. Great fabric and low maintenance. I ordered it in the 'black multi' which goes with a lot of pieces in my wardrobe. This top will be a staple come the hot Aussie summer.

I'm impressed
I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. I bought the 'wine' colour and it is gorgeous. The washed silk makes this shirt fall even more beautifully than a silk crepe de chine, perhaps. In saying so the washed effect gives the 'wine' colour a dusty, slightly worn in look - but very stylish of course. Since this was my first Equipment shirt I ordered my usual size - it's good for a relaxed, androgynous look that I can wear tucked in or wear as a tunic. But if you want to wear the shirt underneath a semi-fitted jacket you may want to consider sizing down bearing in mind that the bottom part of the shirt should fit your hips since it's long. Now I wonder what colour I should order next?!

Not the 'Julian' that I know
The 'Julian' is one of my favourite DVF wrap dress styles so I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of this 'new Julian' dress. But...what a disappointment! Firstly the sizing is larger than my 'old Julians'. Then I noticed that the silk jersey fabric seemed thinner than what DVF has used in the past and the neckline facing is not sewn into a seam, so it kept slipping out. Plus this particular print looked really dull in real life. I was hugely disappointed so I returned this dress. I hope DVF doesn't alter any aspect of my other favourite wrap dress, the 'Justin' or else I'll cry.

Great jeans if only......
This was my first J Brand purchase and I think it'll probably be my last. I don't think J Brands are made for my body type which is petite and curvy. On a hunch I bought one size up from my usual size. I found the waist to be quite loose but this can easily be fixed by wearing a belt, but the knees are quite fitted. However, the fabric is fabulous and that's the main reason I'm keeping this purchase.

Quirky little dress - love it!
Purchasing this dress was a gamble because I had no sense of how it would fit by just looking at the picture. However I was very pleasantly surprised when I received it. On average I'm an Australian size 10 & US size 8, so I ordered this dress in size M and it turned out to be perfect. In fact someone of similar build with a really toned physique can even fit into a size S, I'm sure. I was also worried it was going to be too long, as I'm only a shortie. But it hits just at my ankle,so I don't have to have it hemmed up. I love the fabric; it's a substantial jersey which is not see through but is light enough for the upcoming Australian spring. Overall great piece from MJ.

Super comfy dress
This is a great dress. It has a slight A-line and because the colour block panels are cut on the bias, it has a distinct 'swing' to it. The fabric has a lovely drape, so although the dress is a loose fit I think it will flatter most body types. It's transeasonal - can be worn as it is as a summer dress or worn with footless tights, flats or ankle boots and topped with a little leather jacket. It's washable too, so it really ticks a lot of the right boxes! Recommend.

Taste of summer
I ordered this top just before going on a European vacation, and I am glad I did. The top is simply so chic as vacation wear. I took into account what other reviewers said about the armholes being small in spite of the generous cut of the blouse, so I ordered my usual DVF size and didn't size down. I can't wait for the weather in Australia to warm up (it's still winter here) so this top can have it's southern hemisphere debut!

When you need a little help......
According to the Spanx size charts, I fall into a borderline size category, so I sized up. I'm pear shaped so the bottom half fits nicely but the top half is a bit loose but once worn it doesn't look too bad. I wear my Spanx slip with my DVF wrap dresses and it really does give me a more streamlined shape. At my age I need all the help I can get. It would also be great as a slip for semi- sheer clothing. Recommend.

My new favourite boots
I wore these boots for three days in a row as soon as I received them and they have been FANTASTIC. So comfortable with no 'breaking in' issues and the size 37 (usual size US 6.5; European 37) fit perfectly. I even received a compliment from a complete stranger the first day I wore them, who referred to the boots by brand name - a very unusual phenomenon indeed in my neck of the woods, which is, shall we say, a tad deprived of many international fashion labels. Thank heavens for Shopbop! I highly recommend these boots if you are after smething wearable, chic and edgy.

My new 'go to' scarf
What can I say......I agree with just about every reviewer. This scarf is fantastic. I bought one in Cocoshell which is a fabulous neutral. I've only had the scarf for about 3 weeks and I've worn it just about everyday. It's perfect for our mild winters, perfect length, perfect weight and the 'Love Quotes' fabric label is actually sewn discretely flat - which I love. I'm contemplating getting another in a different colour but can't decide which one!
