some basics are worth the $
In the '90s (when my wardrobe was 90% Salvation Army) I bought a Helmut Lang tank top with an asymmetrical hem and a price-tag that made me shudder. I ended up wearing it to death for years; when I see photos of myself in it, the timelessness really shows. I saw this shirt and knew I had to buy the reincarnation of my old standby. My first Enza Costa purchase, and I am very satisfied. The material is so lovely, soft and not too sheer. I found the fit even more flattering than the photo. Perhaps it's because I have small shoulders/back, but the size S (I'm 5'5", 125) sits quite a bit lower on my chest than on the model (a good thing in my book). The flared hem adds a feminine, easy, rumpled glamour to an outfit. I like that it's just long enough to wear over leggings and keep the look modest. Also adds just a *tad* of oomph in the hips/rear (also a good thing for me). Home run.

perfect casual separate
simple: the the design and muted colors can go with practically everything. but with just enough unique details - houndstooth print, asymmetrical hem & waistline - that makes you happy to put it on. at 5'5", 125, size S fits well...although i'm 30-something so the back will probably be a bit too short for me to pull off with bare legs. now in winter though, this is so comfy, and fits well into my tendency to add layer upon layer without bulking me up. really cute over slim pants/leggings. flattering too!
