Current/Elliott
Dorothy Skirt
Do not size down like with most C/E
I usually go down a size in C/E, and it always made sense up to now. What Shopbop should start doing is include the C/E "wear" indicators on the slip tag inside the clothing. This is what the skirt says: "Wear: True to size, high on waist, and unbottoned at the bottom." This is different from most of my other CE bottoms (I own plenty) where you "size down" or "stay true" depending on the style and how you want to wear it. I'm usually a 28 in most denim, and a 27 sometimes in COH and mostly in C/E. I'm 5'6, athletic build, 4-6 on bottoms. I hope this review helps someone. I am sooooo disappointed that I didn't order my usual size, cuz now they're sold out!! (But my wallet thanks me.) I gave 4 stars because it's still an awesome skirt.

Out of the box and on to the street
Love these shoes. On their first day out I wore them with gray Current Elliott skinny cargos (rolled up to the top of the boots), a navy blue hoodie, Levi's stonewashed jean jacket, and brown Balenciaga City. I walked all over SF wearing these booties and they passed the test. Super comfortable and the color (tan) will go with everything. I'm gonna take the tip of one of the other reviewers and wear these booties with skirts and dresses (slim-silhouetted). And you can't beat the (sale)-price! (Shopbop also price-matched Nine West's much-lower sale price -- I hope they don't mind me saying so!)

TTS once you go down a size
I just *had* to buy these jeans. I'm an impulsive jeans-buyer and the dark-wash, high-waist is my new of-the-moment obsession. I own the JBrand Bettes and these C/E's round out my high-waist jeans repertoire (I don't need too many, I'm still a low-rise, boot-leg/flare kind of girl). If you like your denim thick and stiff, you may not like these -- these are lightweight and thin (perfect for the summer). If you have kind of a tummy, you might want something that will hug a bit tighter. They cost way too much of course, but C/E's never disappoint.

Rag & Bone
N-2 Bomber Jacket
An AMAZING jacket!
I was a little apprehensive about buying this jacket -- especially after hitting "SUBMIT" -- because of the reviews. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this jacket. I ripped open the box, took the jacket out of the plastic, and was super excited -- about the wool (certified Harris Tweed!), animal trim (sheepskin!), buttons, snaps, and oversized zipper-hardware. I would not characterize this jacket as "boxy," but a little relaxed. The way it falls suits the construction of the shoulders and neckline. I've had my fair share of bomber-jackets done as close to the 80s-b-boy style as possible -- this is a nice, modern take. I can't wait to wear it, I'm so glad my part of the Bay Area tends to always be chilly. And hello! It's friggin 70% off. Rag & Bone. Doesn't get better than that.

Stable & sassy (Go down 1/2 a size)
Platform wedges are my favorite shoes. I bought this pair in the cognac-y color, so I can wear it through the spring and summer (how many black shoes must one person own? I'm trying to move away from that). The shoe looks like it could be a lot of work, but it's very stable -- a bit on the heavy side, so if you're not into the clomp of a platform you may want to think twice before hitting submit. I wore these shoes with a tweed blazer, green cargo pants, yellow turtleneck and striped socks. It was a peculiar outfit but the shoes pulled it all together.I consider myself a true size 10 and couldn't believe there was about a half-inch space in the heel once my foot slid/settled (comfortably) in the toe. I'm still giving it 5 stars because it's a stylish shoe that's not too complicated. Easy to walk in but I have to take them off when I drive.

Great with a code or deep discount!
I agree with the other reviewers -- larger than expected (esp. remark about shoulders not hitting right) -- that could be attributable to it being exactly what it purports to be -- A BLANKET SWEATER! Also agree with the lint-attraction statement. I folded it next to the Cecilia Bucourt fringe scarf, and it was like a cat slept on my the sweater. Still, the price (sale + 20% code) so considering the fabric composition, designer, reversability, and the print (I have yet to find a good navajo vintage sweater) -- this will do! Cuff the sleeves and I think you'll be fine.

Rebecca Taylor
Dottie Dress
Sassy Snugaliciousness
The material of this dress is often described as "french terry." When I pulled it out of the package I said, "oh! it's sweatshirt material!" and that's what makes this dress FABULOUS! This is the very definition of "casual chic" -- to me, meaning, simple (sweatshirt material) and sexy (form-fitting mini dress HELLO!) I am experiencing the biggest Rebecca Taylor fixation right now. It's the perfect date dress -- for an evening at home or a day date somewhere fun outside (sunny and hot). I wish I could wear this dress everywhere, but alas... you must exercise discretion and proper decorum. It's sassy!

Attention-grabber
I saw this ring in a spread that featured "celebrity designers" in US Weekly. I usually have a distaste for celebrity-designed fashion, but I have caved on occasion. This ring is no exception, and the face Nicole rocked it in the mag created a lemming inside me. But it's a fabulous ring!! I have a thing for peacocks, so it was perfect. The color specks are enamel, there are no stones encrusted. Everytime I wear it people compliment it. Beware! The pointy ends of the "feathers" snag. I wore this with the TwentyEightTwelve Dern eyelet romper and it got caught several times.

Winter Kate
Damien Dress
Simply boho-chic
I have an athletic build, and on the flat-chested side. When I pulled the dress out of the package I was in love... the silk is great, the design is fabulous and the dress is lined -- but still airy and floaty. I will probably shorten the straps, as the dress hangs low in front and if you're not careful you may experience the proverbial wardrobe malfunction. (But if showing your chest off is more your style, then it shouldn't matter much to you.) The dress is floor-grazing... be careful with your heels, a wedge is probably more ideal so you don't step and snag the hem.
