So Amazing and Necessary!!
In defense of this dress I will say that the size L fit my 5'6" 155 pound broad shouldered frame like a dream, hitting me just above the knees...I'm not a spring chicken but this dress is fabulous! The material is thick, stretchy and soft - it hugs my curves perfectly but not too tight and it looks amazing over skinny jeans...My main concern in purchasing was the shoulder seams - in all the pics they look really narrow and the collar bunches up...well they sit in the right place on my broad frame and the collar does its unstructured bunching in just the right way....really amazing brainless pieces - sleeves nice and long too...will order a second when they get marked down...

Hello I am an Inflated Garbage Bag!!!
Okay this is pretty chic on a skinny chick but curvier ladies beware - you will look like a black-suited Michelin Man...Comfy, warm, cozy, pretty well made, a bit expensive for what it is...quite large and bulky on my largish frame...I'm 5'6" 158 and ordered a L...I had lots of room but it was unflattering...sending it back sadly...

Meh
This looks good on the model, but it is made out of pretty thick, sleeping bag type cotton padding, yet it is cut thin through the hips and the sleeves are too wide...it will make anyone look fat, but especially if you are broad shouldered/broad chested or curvy...Run away!!!
Sizing: Smaller than Expected

Nice classy artsy piece
I like CM knits...I have really broad shoulders and am a bit curvy...the size L fit my 158 5'6" figure really well. A lot of times the shawl style doesn't work on my shoulders, but this can be worn over shoulders or as a cowl neck or pulled up as a semi-hood. The charcoal is a nice choc. brown. In my opinion it is not merched properly with purple pants...it's soft and versatile and a good classy buy.

nice colour/fabric fits weird
I was hesitant to order this since it is such a nuisance doing the online thing as a Cdn citizen, but I ordered it to my uncle's florida addy while visiting....unfortunately the size L was too ill-fitting - i have really broad shoulders, 5'6" about 160 pounds...halter styles usually work well for my frame...the plunging neckline was way too deep, ending below breast level, the back was quite low, but the drapey hanging fold in the back looked really strange from the side - too much fabric bunched up at the small of the back...I love the colour and the rayon fabric - the length covered my bumb...I considered having it altered but it seemed like too much hassle since it was pricey to begin with for what it is. I would say it runs a size large, but the M might have been too tight across my bumb...overall a disappointment...
