Hanky Panky
Signature Lace Boy Shorts
very comfortable
These boy shorts are very comfortable, just sit gently on you, rather than grabbing, and don't ever ride up. They are surprisingly not itchy either. The colour (granite) is very attractive when peeking out of the tops of lower-rise jeans and especially "army" pants. I am about 5'9" tall, wear a size 30-31 in 7 for all mankind jeans, and buy medium hanky panky boy shorts. I recommend that you only wear this boy short style on cooler days, as it can get a little sweaty on hot days - those days are for thongs or cotton undies.

Vince
Little Boy Tee
perfect tee indeed
I love Vince tees; they fit without being snug (I am 5'9" with 35" bust, 29" waist, 40" hip and I buy a medium), they are soft, and long enough to tuck into pants/jeans, or leave out and not fear revealing anything when you squat or bend. I wash them in cold water, gentle cycle and the oldest ones I have, have lasted me 3 years so far. This particular one is true to the colour shown, a beautiful rich blue.

Laurence Dolige
Fleur Bis Blouse
very nice blouse
I wasn't familiar with this designer and am thankful that Shopbop brought him within range. The blouse is very nicely cut; not too fitted but no excess fabric. The print is charming, very European, and the fabric is very lightweight, but not sheer, perfect for spring/summer, (perhaps not the best quality of fabric, but still very nice). I bought the size 2, and I wear an italian 44, US medium, James Perse 3, very comfortably. I missed out on his other pieces so I hope that Shopbop brings in more of his line.

Vince
Little Boy Tee
love Vince tees
This tee is perfect. Soft, with a nice drape (so no too fitted, but not sloppy at all), and the colour is light but a definite true blue (blueberry tee). I bought medium - I am 5'9", with 35" bust, 28" waist, and broad shoulders, and the fit is perfect; classic and feminine.

Vince
Striped Tank
nice tank
This tank is the usual Vince tank - soft, longish (for discretion) and covers bra straps - although the neckline is a little deeper than usual. The colour is not crisp, has a bit of a dusty look to it, which is soft and nice.

James Perse
Short Sleeve Crew Neck Tee
wonderful colour
This tee is exactly as pictured - the colour is a bright, warm, coral red which looks wonderful on brunettes. The fabric is light, but not see-through, and the tee is slightly fitted with a little rumple for hiding body bumps, and is long enough to tuck into 8" rise denim on me; I am 5'9" with a regular waist.

Marled Boxy Cowl Sweater
very nice
This sweater is very soft, and don't be fooled by the wool content; it is not the least bit itchy. The cowl neck though full, does not bunch up around your neck (if you're anything like me you don't like the choking feel of some turtlenecks), unless you zip your jacket right up - but as the cowl acts as an infitinity scarf, you don't need to zip up. The style is loose and boxy, but as it is soft, it almost drapes about you as you move therefore not appearing sloppy or adding bulk. I am not big in the bustline, and wouldn't recommend it for someone who is - it is a substantial cowlneck. The arms are very long, which I like as I am 5'9" with long arms, but perhaps others would not? Also, I have wide, bony shoulders which the sweater softens - makes them more feminine. If my shoulders were already rounder and more feminine, I think that this sweater would just swim around without flattering.
In any case, this sweater suits my body type happily and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

J Brand
Gigi Cropped Flare Jeans
A new favourite
I only started wearing J Brand recently, and have bought them through Shopbop, as my preferred source. I am very pleased with the quality of the denim - soft yet substantial (meaning you feel held in nicely), with a perfect, what I term "dirty" blue wash (blackish dark blue). The gigi style is comfortable and versatile - easy to push into high boots, and fun to wear with desert boots in the spring. I am 5'9" tall and normally wear a 30 in Hudson/sevens, but find the J Brand a smaller cut usually, and so bought the 31. These are loose (as shown in the picture) and I need to wear a belt, but if you're handy with a needle, a couple of darts at the back and they fit beautifully - comfortably body-skimming.

Falke
Stripes Knee High Socks
great basic
These socks are of very good quality, very comfortable to wear (no bunching, non-invasive smooth seam at the toe), and attractive! I wear an italian 41, american 10, and the "2" fits perfectly. My only regret is that I didn't buy more!!

J Brand
Mid Rise 16" Straight Leg Jeans
an attractive pair of jeans
These jeans are made of good quality denim, thick and pliable. The rinse is the perfect dark of my very first (70's) levi's. The fit is perfect - not straight, more of a straight bootcut as mentioned by others, straight and snug through the knee then gently flaring out to a narrow bootcut. As for fit, I bought 31, am 5'9" with 38"-39" hips (more behind, less hip), and the fit is perfect, not at all tight; just comfortably fitted. The rise is not high, just not low. One caveat - the knee is a trifle too snug if you, like me, have larger bones, but loosens up with wear.
