I wanted a casual, versatile skirt that I could wear weekends or traveling. This fits well for my straight figure and is true to size (purchased small, hips 35 and waist 27). It may ride up slightly when walking but because the waist is not defined, you can also make the skirt a little longer by wearing it lower on your waist, etc. It will be a great addition to my wardrobe and I love the double-lined fabric.

As I mentioned in reviewing the heather grey color, the size varied between the two colors. I stayed with the black as it fit me better overall but will need to be shortened. At 5'4", 36B and normally a size 2-4, the small will work both as a skirt and dress but the length is too long. The grey was better in length but tighter in the waistband/bust. This will be a great, versatile piece for summer but also during my frequent travels.

I purchased both the black and heather grey skirt. Although I loved the grey color, the waistband fit was tighter than the black and would not work as well in the bust for the dress option (I am a 36B). However, the length of the grey skirt was shorter and better for me at 5'4". I am normally a size small in Splendid (2-4) and found the skirt to fit true to size but kept the black for its versatility and fit. At this point, I will need to shorten the black skirt.

I normally wear a size small in Splendid tops and dresses. However, the poncho has a very oversized fit and the xtra-small was best for me (5'4", 117 lbs). Even with downsizing, I feel this would fit well over another top. Should be a versatile item for cool nights and traveling....just wish it was more of a terry fabric (heavier) as described. Instead, it is a normal weight knit cotton.

This is a cute, stylish sweatshirt of lightweight material. Love the styling but you will need to consider sizing. I am a size 2-4 in tops & dresses and the XS is still roomy. It is a keeper for exercise and casual wear but be aware that it runs large.

I like the style and weight of this top (feels like a light sweatshirt) but it runs small. I am normally a size 4 in dresses (35 bust) but I felt it was just a little snug in bust area and would not allow for layering over any workout tops or bras. It is going back.

I love sweater dresses for winter but want them versatile for work (with tights/shoes) and weekends (with boots or leggings). This dress fits the bill. It is a soft, lightweight sweater fabric which fits comfortably....not body conscious. I purchased my normal small in Juicy (wear a size 4 in most dresses) and it fits well, hitting a few inches above the knee (5'4"). Love the unique colors and argyle print!

Based on a prior reviewer, I purchased the 3/4 (5'4" and 117 lbs) and it was huge on me. It also was very long, not the 33 inches noted in the description. Although purchased on sale, it would cost too much in alternations to make this dress work....unfortunately it is going back.

Loved the styling and color of this dress, but purchased in a size small and it just didn't fit correctly. I don't mind altering clothing but couldn't imagine how I could get the bust (too big) and hips to fit right and I didn't think an XS would work. In the past Velvet has fit me well in small but maybe they are revamping their sizing (35-27-34).

Although I loved the styling of this body-conscious dress, it just didn't flatter my straight body (35-27-34). I went for a size small and the shoulder straps would need to be altered to fit. Since too much wasn't going right, I decided to return.
