IRO
Brian Sleeveless Shirt
Great summer top
I'm 5'5", short-waisted, wear a 36D bra and a size 29 or 6 pant. I have trouble with button-down shirts because they gap open at the bust on me. This one doesn't. I own the IRO Jeff printed leather jacket in size 2, but probably could have done with a 3 because the 2 is on the small side for me. I can't say whether IRO runs small, as I own only the IRO jacket and now this shirt. I got the shirt in a 2 instead of a 3 because the 1 looked rather large on the model, especially across the bust and in the armholes. The 2 turned out to be the right size for me, although I could have done fine with the 1. The armholes looked deep, so at the same time I bought the shirt, I bought the CLU tissue-weight ribbed layering tank top in small and medium. The small tank provides the perfect coverage so my bra doesn't show at the armholes. The Brian shirt fabric is semi-sheer, light and airy, but the pattern provides coverage so it isn't see-through. The muted colors are also perfect for spring-summer.

Clu
Tank Top
Exactly as described
The description for this tank top is apt. It is a tissue-weight jersey, semi-sheer and perfect for layering. I intend to take it on extended travel. It will help keep me warm on plane flights, and will layer beautifully under sheer summer tops. It's the perfect length, longer on me than on the model, as I am a short-waisted 5'5". I got it in both the small and medium and both fit fine because it's very stretchy. Just don't wear it by itself, as it's quite sheer, much more so than it is pictured on the model.

Helmut Lang
Reflex Leggings
Gorgeous; Fit Like a Dream
Helmut Lang fits and flatters a woman's body like no one else! As soon as I put these on, I knew they would be worth the cost. Ditto on everything the reviewer coco30 said about the fabric, fit and value. The fabric has a matte finish and a perfect weight -- not too thin, not too heavy -- that provides ideal flexibility and coverage, while still accenting curves. I normally wear a 29 jean. I tried the small and the medium, but went with the medium so that the fit was a tad looser. There are a few special touches, like the depth of the waistband and the length and placement of darts, that add to the figure-flattering features and the smooth line. I recommend these highly as a staple in your wardrobe for years to come. They will provide lots of looks: they will balance an oversized furry or puffer jacket or vest, look great with a tunic, a blouse or T-shirt and a long jacket, or rock an asymmetrical long T-shirt with a cropped jean jacket.

Jeffrey Campbell
France Suede Boots
Great boots, but not for me
These are great boots: very on-trend and "rocker"-looking. The color is a perfect neutral, going well with blacks, browns, grays and blue jeans. The slouchy style would look great with jeggings, leggings and skinny jeans. They would even work well with a frilly dress. However, with the floppy top, they were too "pirate-y" looking for me, so I returned them.

Steven
Shilah Flats
Comfy, Attractive End-of-Summer Flats
These will bring some pizazz to your capris and leggings. They are made with leather that is neither too soft nor too stiff; so comfy, you can wear them all day. The colors work well with end-of-summer into fall colors. The pattern has the tribal look that's on-trend now. The blue, diamond-shaped applique has a sheen, as does the black stitching, and the blue will pick up your turquoise jewelry. The body of the shoe Is an orangey tan that you often see in baseball mitts, and has a natural look and matte finish that contrasts with the shiny appliques. These are a little large in size.

Rag & Bone
The Egerton Haircalf Belt
Sized too small! Otherwise loved it
I love this belt. It's narrow, but not too narrow and the style, color and material are unique and versatile. However, it was sized too small. I got the medium, even though I normally would have worn a small. Even the medium was too small. The measurements shown are the longest possible length for that size, so you can't adjust the holes to the brads to make it larger, only smaller. There is no room to punch more holes, either. I hoped to purchase the large, but by the time I received the medium and tried it on, the large was sold out. So, I returned it.

Rag & Bone/JEAN
High Rise Bell Jeans
I didn't like the color
These pants are well-made, well-fitting and attractive, as I have found Rag and Bone apparel to be. I wasn't crazy about the color, jewel, which was too green for me, so I returned them. It was just a matter of personal preference, and didn't subtract from the overall quality and style, which was excellent.

Soft Joie
Memory Top
Pretty, feminine, comfortable top
This is a lovely blouse, very flattering, made with a soft, opaque fabric. It can be dressed up or down. I got it in navy in the small and extra-small, intending to return the size that didn't fit as well. Joie tends to be a bit large for me -- usually, I get the extra-small with Joie. This time, the small fit better -- it gave me the loose flowiness that works best with the blouse. I am a 36-C, short-waisted and 5' 5" tall.
I am wearing it so the elastic hits at the hip, although it can also be worn at the waist. I am not sure why they call it a "memory top", but my guess is that it's because when you wear the elastic at the hip, it tends to stay there and doesn't ride up, which is a great feature.

Elizabeth and James
Falin Suede Pumps
Beautiful but have wear issues
Elizabeth and James are a beautifully styled, well-constructed, very wearable, and trendsetting line and these shoes are no exception. They are flattering and the color is gorgeous: a unique, soft nude-pink. Despite their height, they are comfortable. Even the box they came in is classy and stylish. However, I had two problems. At the end of the evening, I discovered that the brown dye on the leather on the inside of the heel had rubbed off and stained the heel of my (rather pricey) pantyhose. I immediately washed the pantyhose, but not all of the stain came out. From now on, I won't be able to wear those pantyhose with slingbacks or mules. The other problem, but one that can be more easily rectified, is that they scuff rather easily. They are light in color, and the suede material seems to attract dirt. After one wearing, they were more scuffed than I would expect. I found that a suede eraser -- more gentle than a suede brush -- took care of the problem, so I recommend purchasing on

Lee Angel Jewelry
Piper Rhinestone Circle Necklace
Great style but doesn't lay right
This is a fun necklace with a lot of style and versatility, but it doesn't lay right. As you wear it, it insists on flopping over and twisting around to the back side. It's not the end of the world, but it means I can't just put it on and that's that. While I am wearing it, I am concerned that it's twisting around, that the back side is flipped over to the front. It happens with some necklaces. I'm not a jeweler, so I don't know why some necklaces do this and some don't. Is it length? Is it shape? Is it weight? All of the above? This happens to be one of the necklaces that flop over.
