Cute!
Cute short shorts for the beach with flip flops. Only the very young should wear these in public and with bare legs. Me, I'm wearing them at home as lounge wear, and to ballet class over ballet tights and a leotard. The blue is a lovely saturated color.

Might Work if it Fits You
This little dress is a nice idea and if it fits you could be a good summer sundress that would accessorize well in a number of ways since it's so neutral. A couple of nice details include a high quality zipper and that the skirt is lined. The not-so-great details are the fabric - which seems a little tired and body-less - and the skirt - which seemed a little on the skimpy side to me. The adjustable bra straps help, but this dress just wasn't a great fit on me and I'm not sure how to advise you: hit or miss on the fit would be my guess. Worth trying if you like the photo!

Voluminous and Unflattering
This skirt has LOTS (and LOTS) of fabric attached to the waistband. I'd say it was full, except that that is not the result (the fabric is too thin for that). It does not hang nicely either. It is simply: voluminous. I thought the fabric seemed on the cheap side too - thin and guaz-y, but not gauze. Shopbop: the way this was packaged may have negatively influenced by perception since it was folded up into a tiny package and was a wrinkled mess upon opening (and i did not press it). Overall, I found the waitband true to size but the skirt itself to be unflattering. And at close to $200 this item is priced ridiculously high imo. Joie - you can do better.

Poly. Ester.
This skirt felt and looked like the absolute lowest form of synthetic fabric manufactured on the planet . Let me say that I personally don't care for so-called ponte knit fabric in general, But I found this to be particularly un-pliable and unattractive. The cut was very wide in the waist too and no way to alter it with the hope of success even if i thought it was worth doing so - which I do not. I don't recall the last time I returned something so quickly. And it looks so pretty in the image (sigh)...

Ouch (but Cute)
Cute and uncomfortable - interior is scratchy, unpadded, and unforgiving. Actually, I'll amend my initial comment: REALLy cute, albeit in a traditional girly sort of way with the lace and the little charm at the toe. The angle is nice - you get height without putting a lot of pressure on the ball of your foot. But oh please use something softer for the interior of your shoes Ms. Burch!

A Not-Silver-Grey Sweater
OK Theory sweater, cut a little skimpy I thought (shorter sleeves, split hem). But the issue was that I thought I was purchasing a silver grey sweater and it's not: it's a marled cream-and-black. Caveat emptor and thanks Shopbop for your return policies.

Pretty - not Gorgeous - and Pricey
1. This is cream / ivory- colored and NOT white as the picture suggests. 2. Fit is true to size 3. It is pretty and kind of sexy since it's so sheer 4. Very traditional.. no edge. 5. And...priced high for what it is (which is a pretty silk blouse). Might have been sensational in true white but left me a little cold. I bought on sale and still returned it. At $125 to $150 I would have kept it.

Fresh, Fresh, Fresh
This dress is super-highly constructed (does it have boning?) with a very fitted bodice and a really full skirt - 360 degrees. Fabric is true white and a true, clean blue - the photo is accurate. The overall effect is girlish, and although we've seen this silhouette before (redolent of Alice + Olivia ) the dress still comes off fresh, fresh, fresh. The front zipper is a great touch for style and convenience and it is "Apple I-Pod"-white - really a great touch. My only criticism: I wish the skirt were two inches longer (it could still be shortened but it can't be lengthened). The length made is making me hesitate (at my age??), but what the heck.. Diane Keaton looks great in a full skirt (albeit longer) and this fits great.

A good pick for a cropped top
So if you're going to go with the cropped trend this is a very good pick because of the fabric, which is both heavy and stretchy, and the cut, which is not too too short or too tight. I'm very petite and the XS for me hits the top of my pants line for medium - rise pants. So Im not hanging out too much (just a peep). The colors are a heather grey on a lighter grey background (NOT a white background as the picture suggests) - very clean and soft greys which I like. The piece is highly textured and feels more like a good, heavy sweatshirt than a sweater. Overall I found this a bit pricey for what it is but it is so cute that Im keeping it . I think it would work well on almost any build - even if you're a bit top heavy - and will certainly go with a lot: jeans, grey sweatpants for a casual look, black, white or grey pants, or white shorts. I personally like khaki / light beige bottoms with it too. I might even try a white denim skirt! A fun on-trend piece.

Form and function
Very cute medium-to-lightweight quilted jacket. The colors are described as black and taupe but it's really a dark charcoal grey and cream (the picture is more accurate than the description). it is nicely made - a step up for Free People and well-proportioned (also somewhat unusual for them). I am very petite (size 0 or 2) and the XS is a terrific fit through the body and shoulders, and a perfect length, hitting at high hip just below the waist. The sleeves are a little long but as they can be rolled or pushed up that's ok with me. I plan to wear this running around on the weekend for errands and the gym - perfect since it won't show dirt or grime. I'll wear it with a bright colored orange or turquoise solid scarf though almost any solid color would work. Bottoms will need to be balck, grey or neutral/ beige. Overall a nice casual, usable piece, that's a little different than what everyone else will be wearing and that's both well-proportioned and well-priced.
