My favorite of the summer. Very comfortable too

I really wanted to love this sandal. It's beautiful - clean lines, the leather is soft, and the construction seems sturdy. I also like a low wedge as it's more comfortable for me to walk in than true flat sandals. The length of the footbed was good; I'm normally a US 9.5 or 10, and the 40 just fit (if you're between sizes, definitely go up). I did have a problem with the width. My feet are slightly wide, and while one sandal fit well, the strap across the top of the foot near the ankle was too big on the other. I wasn't able to walk with a normal gait, since the sandal sort of flopped around, and I was sure it would just get worse as the leather stretched. At this price point I wanted a better fit, so sadly, I had to send them back.

I was so excited to get these sandals, and they definitely lived up to my expectations! They are simple, and clean looking and can be worn with almost anything- definitely worth the price!!

These are extremely comfortable right out of the box. I was worried they would be too flat but they seem fine. I am normally an 8.5 and I got these in a 39 and they seriously just fit my feet. I plan to alternate these with a gold pair of flat Rebecca Minkoffs I got last summer.

I had to size up on this sandal. Very cute and well made.

This is a very raw shoe--the bottom is wood and it looks untreated/unsealed, and the top is a very raw sort of leather. The leather isn't soft and I found the edges to be quite rough. It didn't fit my foot well at all.

These are fabulous sandals in great quality. Beautifully crafted, and quite unique. The best alternative to flip-flops. Price is a bit high though... I'm keeping them, but wish they were priced lower!

I saved these sandals for my annual trip to Cape Town and wish I hadn't. They look great but are not the least bit comfortable to wear. After 30 minutes of walking around, I have a raw red blister with a red hole in the middle of it right in the middle of my heel, put there by the metal rivet that attaches the ankle strap to the sandal. Not a particularly practical design idea. I'm going to have to pad that rivet with something to be able to use them at all. Form and function are equally important for great design, so in my opinion these are an expensive miss.

I could not be more thrilled that Shopbop is carrying Ancient Greek Sandals. These are my all time favorite pair of shoes. They are so comfortable and I get compliments everywhere. Very stylish and practical.

Love this work of designer Christina Martini, former designer of brands as Balenciaga and Luis Vuitton! Super quality and it comes in a really nice packing with dust bag with leather strings. Take well care of hese shoes and I think they could be that favorite pair that just gets more beautiful by the years!

These sandals are extremely well made and the leather is buttery soft. I originally ordered the 38 as I am usually an 8 in sandals sometimes and 8.5, however I found these a little snug especially around the ankle area (and my ankles are by no means large). I exchanged for the 39 and they fit like a glove! They were not super comfortable out of the box, but nothing a few wears won't fix.

Love these sandals but they run narrow. FYI.
