I feel like I can never have too many black dresses with a defined waist. Very flattering if you have a little bit of a tummy. I am typically a size 6 in Theory, but I could barely zip this up when I got it. Luckily, Shopbop will let me return/exchange for free so I just ordered an 8, which fit perfectly.

I love this dress, it's extremely elegant in person. The fabric, lining, and cut are sublime; I would have paid much more for such quality. Incredibly flattering if you have an hourglass figure, much more so than a traditional sheath. I tried both an 8 and 10; 8 was perfect!

I was so excited when this arrived! True to Theysken's Theory form, this dress is amazing. Perfectly tailored and super flattering! I ordered at size 2 as the 0 was sold out. So glad I did. The 2 fits perfectly. I am usually a 0-2 so I would say this dress runs slightly smaller. The fabric is wonderful and expensive. It is such a versatile piece! A must have!

Like all Theory dresses lately, the side zipper doen't come all the way up - no idea why. This makes it nearly impossible to put it on. I have 2 Theory dresses like this, and it takes an acrobatic effort to put it on, so I refuse to buy any more until they start making dresses with normal side zippers.

This is seriously as flattering as others have mentioned. Great fabric. Really soft lining. Great cut. As to the other review who said she couldn't use the side zip, I agree. The fabric has a stretchy component that can make zipping a challenge (c cups cause these problems). I solved this by zipping first and then shimmying it on. Then when done prancing around I unzipped and it slips right off! As to length, I found it office appropriate, being only 5'3" it came to a hand's width above my knee. LOVE THIS DRESS!

This dress is too short for me to wear to work (I'm 5'11" and am employed in a conservative field), but is also a little too work-like to wear to a club or lounge. The material is like that of a suit. However, the dress fits very nicely (I got the size 2) and is clearly well-made. I have worn it to a symphony and could envision wearing this dress to a dinner party, etc.

Great for a dressy work meeting or cocktail party. It is true to size. Very chic.

Very flattering and versatile. The details are beautiful as well. Fits TTS, but quite fitted at the waist- I would size up if between sizes.

Like all the other reviews, this is a perfect 3 season dress. It is great with tights for Winter but I can see myself wearing it in the Spring as well as Autumn. However, it does run small. I could get my regular size on (8), but it didn't really flatter my figure because it was too small in the bodice. The 10 feels comfortable and I love it.

I love love love this dress! Perfect work dress (assuming you can wear dresses above the knee). Very classy and takes a twist on the standard work dress. Hard to see on the model, but the collar is one of my favorite parts of the dress. It has a special v-shape on a boatneck/scoop neck collar. The cut and pleats were flattering. Measurements are 5'5", 110 and got the 0- perfect size. Paired with Dina Laser pumps from Alice & Olivia- definitely a power combo!

Such a well-made LBD, only could be better with side pockets. Fits a bit snug definitely size up I am usually a size 0 but ordered this in a 2 from previous reviews and now it fits perfectly! Probably the most versatile dress I have can be dressed up and down and professionally or casually. A staple piece :)

This a great tee dress. Fit is as expected. The fabric is stretchy but so soft, sits nicely on. Design is unique and although pricey I think worth it. Really love this dress and enjoy wearing it.

One word -gorgeous ! I'm so happy ,that bought this one, the color is so beautiful! I took 26( i have one of CH boyfriend jeans also 26), but I like them fit roomy, and it fits like on this model, but as all boyfriend jeans it runs one size bigger, I will not wear them without belt.
