cute, but run a little big
this item runs a little big, especially in the waist. I have a pair of the DL 1961 skinny jeans in the same size and they are really tight compared.

Great investement
I got a size up because I wanted these to be slouchy and boyfriend style but they are a little too big around the waste. Fit on thighs hips are good though. Fabric is awesome. Super soft and ink doesn't transfer. So versatile, you can roll up and wear with sandals in the spring/summer or roll down and tuck into boots in fall/winter. Worth the investment.

Great as expected
Love DL1961. I have the Cindy in a dark blue color. This fabric feels a little more stretchier and forgiving. So far I've loved all jeans by this brand and am curious to see how these hold up with washing. I am expecting the color not to fade too quickly since my others seem to be doing OK with repeated washings.

Too big
I typically wear a 24 or 25 in jeans, my other dl jeans are a 25 and fit perfectly but these were too big in a 25, bummed out that I paid duty and now have to pay to ship them back. I think they would be a great staple if they weren't too big.

Did not work for me
The feel of the fabric is great but these didn't work. I usually order 25, but if it's a straight or skinny I get 26. I ordered the 26 in these and they were huge. Just didn't work. Also they looked more pencil on me than a straight cut with a boot opening as in picture. The fabric feels great though and would otherwise be a nice lightweight jean for summer.

Run really large
These are a great wash - but they are enormous! I think you could probably size down 2 sizes. Ultimately, I returned them because I didn't love the boyfriend look on myself. But they are a really soft, comfortable jean. Would be great on someone tall.

Most comfortable jeans I've ever owned!
I'm 5' 8" (173 cm), 119 lbs (54 kg). I usually wear a 25 and I had to go down to a 24. They fit great and the material is so soft and comfortable. I think they are perfect summer jeans!

One size too big
Great feel and styling. Fits one size too big. I'm a 29... I am now sending the jeans back and will maybe order the 28. I wish I was a true 28....! :)

Look no further!
Oh my, I am so very pleased to have ordered these... I ordered my normal size initially, but exchanged them for one smaller, as they do seem to run large. Was it worth it? Absolutely. I've found it so hard to find good maternity jeans without an annoying fly/button situation and these are perfect.

Disappointed
Having previously bought several emma legging jeans I know that my size is always a 27. I have the ones in Onyx (black) which faded quite quickly so I was very happy when I saw these new ones in Riker which is also a black. So I decided to snap them up. However when I tried them on I was shocked to discover that they were at least one to two sizes bigger. Wow.. why can't there be some conformity, it is now costing me $35 to return. Not good enough. They still look and feel great .. if only they fit! If anything I've put on weight so... be warned. Size down.

Larger than expected
I agree with the previous review. I read all the reviews about the Emma Legging Jean on Shopbop and was of the belief they ran true to size, if not a little small. Similar to J Brand. So on that advice I ordered my normal size 28. But they are definitely too big. I will need to return and order a size down. So I'm disappointed because I was so excited to wear them! But I am definitely going to order the 27 because they seem like a really comfortable jean. They feel nice, have a great skinny shape and are a good length. They are definitely a slightly cropped jean. I'm 5'7 and a half and they sit just above my ankles Fingers crossed the size 27 will fit!

Most Comfortable Jeans Ever!
I have had these for a few months now and they are my go to jean!! They are so flattering and definitely the most comfortable jeans I have ever owned. I was most nervous about whether or not they would fade as I've never had a pair of black jeans that haven't. I can honestly say they are still just as black as they were the day I bought them! I wash them cold and hang dry like I was told which I'm sure helps a little. A definite must have!!

Great Black Jean, a Staple!
These fit incredibly well and are the right color/fabric combo to be an essential staple in my closet. I went with a size 24, which is also what I wear in J Brand. I'm almost 5'2 and 105-ish lbs, athletic build. These are flattering and comfie! I do have to shorten them, but I'm looking forward to wearing them soon. Very versatile.
